«The hotel is currently being renovated, so the reception is a bit of a make-shift affair in the breakfast room. Toast and hot breakfast the English way cooked at your request, preserves and cereals, milk, yoghurt and apple/orange juice provided on a table. No staff visible apart from the combined breakfast waitress/receptionist who was otherwise pleasant enough, we were provided however with the details of a person who would be on the premises later in the evening/throughout the night in case we ...

«The room was clean and fresh with tea and coffee making facilities plus complimentary water which was very welcome as it was a hot day when we arrived. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but it was possible to open the window.
The breakfast choice wasn't huge but perfectly adequate with bread and cereals and a freshly cooked hot course of our choice.
Overall a really comfortable stay with a very friendly and helpful host.»

«A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!»
