«The apartment was clean and well equipped. Beautiful beach close by. The only problem we had was that it was a bit noisy. At check in they said it would be some work next door on monday, for a couple of hours. That was fine. But on tuesday - without warning they started both on the roof and next door apartment at 07:45 in the morning. This went on for the whole day. «We were on a cruise which ended in Papeete. We decided to spend an additional 2 nights in the area and chose Moorea due to proximity by ferry. I researched hotels and chose Hibiscus due to the excellent ratings and price. The hotel exceeded my expectations. «Very nicely located hotel with oldish but rather well maintained bungalows. However, the food offer is mediocre. Compared with the other hotels we stayed at, the selection for breakfast was very poor and the products were of poor quality. For lunch we got a tasteless, well done burger (we ordered medium). The creperie was decent though and it was cool to observe sharks down. In the end we decided to rent a car and eat outside the resort and that was a very good decision. »
