«This was a very nice affordable place to stay in Cusco. One thing that I wasn’t expecting was there was no front desk or lobby. I arrived late at night and it’s not very well marked. I had to ring a doorbell and was quickly greeted very nice employee who gave me my room code. (It’s a historic building so they can’t make changes to the exterior.) «Excised about the location and the great hospitality. The breakfast was exceeding every expectation from a small place like this. The size of the beds are not as expected. The promise: king bed was a queens size, the queen was a small double. The room should have a bathtub, and it did, unfortunately it could not be closed hence not filled with water. «You cannot get more central in terms of location. Right at the end of the street from the train station and only a couple of blocks from the main plaza and the key archeological sites. The balcony rooms overlook the river and the rooms are very spacious. The included breakfast makes for an easy start to your day. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Sol Ollantay.»

«Cute Peruvian hotel close to town - walkable to a mini market and restaurants. We would stand outside the hotel and flag down a motortaxi if we wanted to go further. They would charge us $5-8 sol ( about $1.75-$2.75 us ) to go into the town square or to the train station . The town square is really cute. The beds were comfy and the worker will give you a heater for your room if you’re cold ( we went in winter) . They stored our roll on bags while we went to Agues Calientes (Machu Picchu) ...

«Our room was nice and comfortable and Rosario is very friendly. It’s close walking distance to everything and it’s very quaint and charming. We would definitely stay again! Breakfast on the terrace each day was truly lovely. Just a couple notes - our room came with a “balcony,” but it’s not really a balcony.
