Beach Rose Cottage i et rolig nabolag nær stranden

Helt nytt hjem, fem minutters gange til brygge, jernbanestasjon og strand. Fem minutter fra en stor, familievennlig park med lekeplass, boccia, tennis og basketballbaner og det er et gårdsstativ / hummerhytte i enden av gaten vår. Levende musikk torsdag kveld gjennom sommeren, etterfulgt av fyrverkeri torsdag kveld. Huset har to romslige soverom med private bad oppe, med garderobe. Ytterligere 1/2 bad ved siden av åpen stue / kjøkken som har mye vinduer og solskinn. Alle kjøkkenutstyr er nye, oppvaskmaskin, mikro osv. Huset er pent innredet med tv og dvd-spiller i stuen og tv i soverommet. To verandaer har utsikt over et anlagt hage med blomster, busker, piknikbord og stoler, samt grill. Verandaen er et flott sted å slappe av med en kjølig drikke etter en dag på stranden. Av gateparkering for to biler samt mer parkering tilgjengelig på gaten. Sentral luft tilgjengelig. Røyking ute bare vær og lei meg - ingen kjæledyr. Doble barnevogn, barnestol, strandvogn, pakke og lek tilgjengelig for barn. MERKNAD: På grunn av forsikringskrav, må den som er ansvarlig for leien være over 21 år.

The house is great for extended family vacation with 3 bedrooms each having its own bathroom. The only slight drawback is that there is no dining table. It's only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the amusements, pier and the beach.

This property was perfect for our week in Old Orchard. The house was roomy for our extended family and was within walking distance of the beach and the pier shops and amusements. Not your typical beach house as the beds were comfy and the kitchen and living areas were open concept for entertaining etc. Also, it has central air conditioning which was much appreciated.The kids and grands visited and the three full and one half bath were a blessing. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The property manager Kathy greeted us when we arrived and was very accommodating and helpful. There is a caretaker in the basement apartment and he introduced himself to us incase we needed him. We had a very relaxing week and highly recommend this property for a great family vacation

The bedroom, bathroom, porch , and other outdoor space was very good. The common space was disappointing. The living room furniture needs to be replaced, as it is quite worn. Additional seating should also be worked into the space. My objective in renting a house is to spend quality time relaxing with my family. When watching TV, we needed to bring in an outdoor chair, which was not especially comfortable.Property manager, Kathy was lovely. She started us off with delicious and plentiful snacks and checked in with us, provided information about the area.

Old Orchard Beach Stay

The property has a very good location as it is walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. The property itself was fine for our needs with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The half bath makes a big difference.

Birthday Week with Family

This was a bucket list wish for a big birthday with family and after lots of reviews we settled on this gem. Kathy is an excellent property manager to deal with. She answers messages quickly and efficiently prior to arrival and also while visiting, she is very friendly. There is an onsite care manager that lives downstairs, he does not interfere with daily going on with the renter and if you speak with him he is also very friendly. The house is walking distance to the beach and lots of eateries, etc. The home has plenty of beds for big and littles. Our only faults we encountered was that the living room furniture was not elderly friendly, it is low grade and has covers on it (which is fine) but when you sit on it you literally "sink" down which makes it difficult to get up. My dad did not stay in the room for hardly any of the week visit due to this. We also found a limit on wash cloths of two per bedroom and when you have more than two people that can be a tad awkward so we had to wash clothes often for this. Lastly, there is a bedroom upstairs that has an issue with the exhaust fan/light that has a short and keeps flickering. All of the negatives have been reported to Kathy and I am sure she will make sure to have them fixed quickly, but if not, the biggest thing is the living room furniture for the older folks to be warned of. The locals are very friendly even though this is a rental unit, several on the road are so they are used to it. Throw a hand up and wave. We did.

Great location

We could walk to everyone. Only needed the car for things the grocery store or going to the movies. Grocery store 2 minutes car ride. House has central air, but not in the upstairs bedrooms. All rooms have ceiling fans which were very useful. 4.5 bathrooms, no one ever had to wait for a bathroom. 10-15 minute walk to beach, amusement park. Golf course less than 10 miles away. We went biking 3 different times.Hiking trail at the end of our road. It had something to do for everyone.

Beach Rose Cottage

Great location at the top of the orchard! Very clean, beautiful house that accommodated my kids who are 12yo & 16yo, myself, my significant other & his 80 yo mother. The bedroom with attached bathroom on the 1st floor was perfect for her since she has trouble walking up stairs & stepping over into a tub to shower. Kitchen/open concept living room were a great space to gather for meals & chit chat. We had hoped for more comfortable, supportive beds & living room furniture considering we spent most of our time indoors due to torrential rains during our time there. Just something to consider if you see rain in the forecast for most of your visit. The rocking chairs on the porch were great to sit, get some fresh air & watch the rain come down! Kathy, the property manager, was very helpful in meeting us there at check in to show us around the house & at check out.

Fantastic place!

The house was everything we hoped for! Each family had its own room and bathroom, which was perfect. Central air kept it cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the front porch each night. Close to the pier area but in a quiet neighborhood. The walk to the beach felt a bit long with little ones in the heat, but it wasn’t really bad. We enjoyed every minute with our kids and grandkids, and hope to return. The house was clean, comfortable and well-appointed.

Perfect location & property

The property was as indicated on listing and was so convenient but just far enough to the beach. The communication with manager was extremely responsive when I needed help with WiFi. The property was perfect for our family to enjoy time together while having the convenience of being within a few minute walk to beach and festivities while still being quiet to relax and enjoy time together. We will be back for sure!

Great beach getaway!

The house is wonderful for large family gatherings - that each bedroom has its own bathroom is a major plus - and it's great to have a grill! The kitchen is well-stocked and beach items are thoughtfully provided. The convenient nearby lobster and farm stand provided us with several fresh seafood dinners during our stay. In addition, the management is very responsive. This is a great beach home and we'd definitely rent it again.

Great family get-away in Old Orchard

Wonderful and very comfortable house for our Old Orchard Beach get-away. Plenty of space indoors for everyone and nice outdoor areas in the back yard, side and front porches for dining and lounging. Nice quiet neighbourhood and just a few minutes to the beach and fun attractions. The property manager kindly welcomed us and was very attentive. Great place to stay.

We had a small family reunion. Home had all the amenities we needed. It was great that all the bedrooms had bathrooms. Property was clean. Property manager was extremely pleasant and very easy to communicate with. Great location!

Perfect location!

This was the perfect house in a very convenient location for sightseeing up and down the coast. We all slept well as it was a quiet neighborhood and the beds were comfortable.. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. If ever we are back in Maine we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Old Orchard Beach

The house was perfect for us as our kids and grandkids stayed on 2nd floor where they had two bedrooms each with a full bathroom while we stay on the first floor also with a full bath. One-half mile from the beach provided quite atmosphere but easy walk to beach. A major plus was Farm stand with terrific fresh fruit (and lobsters) at the end of our street.

Great family get away

The house was perfect for our family with 6 adults and 2 small children. House is well maintained and clean. They offer many amenities to help with the children so we didn’t have to bring so much. Kathy was great to work with, very quick to respond to any inquiry. Very manageable walk to the beach and shops. This is the first place I’ll check for availability next time we look to come to the area

Fourth of July with three generations - great family home!

Cleanliness: This home was the cleanest home ever. Fresh sheets & towels, clean floors—not a bit of sand. Counters, appliances, bathrooms—everything. It felt GREAT! Set-up: if you’re traveling with a family, this is a great place to stay! My parents stayed in master on the ground floor. Upstairs, the two en suite rooms housed our family of 5. Our 2 elementary kids stayed in one room with a great closet and bathroom. We took the other room with a queen bed and used the provided pack n play in the walk in closet for our 2 year old. The attached bath had both a bath and shower. The kitchen is very nice—basics provided. The set-up with towels, soap, napkins, coffee (k-cups & drip), teas, and a freezer with ice made the first day easy! Amenities: Wow! To have a beach house that includes beach towels, a beach cart, small propane gas grill and some sand toys was great! We also appreciated the pack n play and the double stroller. So much less to pack! There’s a great picnic table in the yard. Eating inside requires a little more creativity. We rearranged a table and chairs to get three people at the table and fed four at the island. If you bring bikes, there’s not a great place to store them. We locked them to the picnic table. Laundry is easy and you need for soap and softener is provided. The porch with the rocking chairs are a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink. The gorgeous hydrangeas make the view even better. Location: This house is in a great location in OOB. Easy walk to a park with a great playground. Far enough from the beach/nightlife that you can’t hear it at night. Close enough to easily walk to and from the beach and not pay for parking. If you haven’t been to OOB before, like we hadn’t, it might be helpful to know it’s a great big sandy beach—perfect for kids and for teens. There’s also quite a lot of nightlife—bars and the partying/traffic to go with it. It’s not a sleepy quaint beach town. But the beach is very family friendly. Our kids played in the sand and boogie boarded all week. It’s a short drive to the sweet town of Kennebunkport. Also close to Portland. Hosts: The hosts were very helpful & responsive. I imagine they have done this a long time because they know how to make a family feel welcome! From the texts, to the ease of check in, to the generous provisions included in the rental, as well as the ease of check-out. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in OOB! It’s wonderful!

Great location!

We had a fantastic experience. Kathy was so personable and accommodating. She answered every question quickly and thoroughly. This was our first time vacationing in Maine and we had something to do everyday, even when it rained. This property was an easy walk to the beach and the main strip where the stores, restaurants and amusements were. I highly recommend!
