«We had access to everything we needed- a fantastic stay and close to all the activities in and around Rotorua making for a great 'base'Plenty of room for our family of 5 and will absolutely book again if we have the opportunity. PS- Laundry was great to have after visiting Hell's Gate mud baths!»

«The home was quaint and had beautiful views of the lake. We should have reviewed the listing more thoroughly, however. We thought the home had two easily accessible bathrooms, but the one bathroom and bedroom was in a completely separate dwelling that could only be accessed by going outside. That was disappointing. In addition, the washer and dryer are located in a very musty basement/“garage,” which like the separate dwelling, could only be accessed by going outdoors. We chose not to use the ...

«The home was cosy and the location peaceful away from the bustle of the busy town. The aspect looking over the lake and watching the sunrise was very special and it was nice to have the deck to relax and enjoy this lovely space.»

«Lovely venue, with a great lake view. House was clean, and check in was easy. Comfortable beds and bedding. A wonderful overnight stay for our group of 10.Minor complaint about some of the cleaning up items available (there were no dishwasher tablets available, so had to pop to the shop in the morning of check out to get some) Also there was no cork screw bottle opener so I couldn't open a bottle of wine :-(Otherwise it was a great experience»

«The property, although warm and dry, could do with a thorough deep clean. Everything looked tired. There were knick knacks decorating the lounge and ugly stuffed toys. Considering we are charged a cleaning fee it was very disappointing. The bedding appeared clean although no top sheets on the bunks. Two face clothes for our entire family of four was ridiculous and 1 teatowel for the enire weekend. Was insufficient. After paying over 900 for the 2 day stay we wrre left underwelmed. «Check in was easy and it's hard to miss with it at the very top. Our room had alot of dead crane flys in our room including on our bed. We had fresh towels to but with all the dead bugs Im not sure how fresh the towels were or how recent the room had been cleaned and for the price I would expect better.»

«Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Fantail Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with gorgeous surroundings and so much attention to detail. A fantastic host who made us feel incredibly welcome and added to an already wonderful stay. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend Fantail Lodge to anyone visiting Rotorua.»
