Dan and Shannon are some of the friendliest helpful hosts that we’ve met. Shannon’s mother lives on the property and is also lovely. She invited the boy to swing. As noted in the description, the kitchen and shower are outside so exposed to nature and such. Dan even took the time to write some notes ...

«If you are looking for an affordable place to stay and fish Okeechobee this is the place. Plenty of vehicle and trailer parking. Minutes to the boat ramp for easy lake access. Nice dock to relax and cast a line, plus fish cleaning station. Cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. I also enjoyed the nice quiet neighborhood, and the host is wonderful. Highly recommended.»
