«I would 100% recommend staying here - it was perfect!! Super easy check-in and friendly helpful comms leading up to it. Dog friendly and Scooby loved it (thank you). Great location: One house away from the 4 Square, the pub and the cafe/take-aways, 2 minute walk to the wharf and fishing. The house was lovely and clean and tidy and well appointed and practical. Seriously this was about as perfect an experience that you could ask for. Thanks Lilypad!! :)»

«I found the waiting for information about the address a bit unnerving, although messages I sent during my stay were answered within a reasonable time.The house was clean and bright and the fire and wood supplies were a wonderful surprise.Loved the hot shower, very impressed with gas hot water supply.»

«Very cute, warm cosy room. Tastefully decorated and such an amazing shower with a rain head as well!! Easy checkin, just a 5 minute walk to little manly beach and a short 5 minute drive to Whangaparoa shopping centre. All in all a beautiful spot and place. Just be aware there isn’t a full kitchen, just the usual toaster, capsule coffee machine and hot water kettle. The hosts gave a nice little touch couple of chocolates each upon arrival as well.»

«We really enjoyed our stay.When we arrived the fridge door was slightly open as it was obstructed by thr e cabinetry. This caused a small water leak over the inside rug. We hung it out but couldn't get it completely dry during our stay. It was a nice little cottage and would definitely stay again.I would like to say I was a bit disappointed there was no firewood for the fire as advertised.We managed to buy some down the road. And it was an enjoyable experience once going.I would also suggest ...

«We had a great stay at Bek’s Retreat at Mangawhai Heads. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really good. There was everything one needed and it was very peaceful. The host, Annette, was quick to come and help with the TV and she was friendly and easy to get on with. Hope to return in the not too distant future.»

«A lovely cottage with furnishings reflecting the beach theme throughout. Very clean and tidy and well equipped. We appreciated the little extras eg the choc treats! It was an oasis of calm and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the charming town centre with its excellent cafes and museum. Can’t wait to return!»
