Gorgeous ocean views, private pool, spacious decks, steps to beach & EV Charger!

Families or friends, there’s room for plenty in this gorgeous home! Open inside spaces and the outside decks can’t be beat! As you come up the inverted floor plan, the ocean view will take your breath away! The kitchen opens to one of the largest decks on the beach-perfect for watching the sunrise with your coffee. You’ll find your toes in the sand after a short, 1 minute walk to the beach access. If you need a break from the saltwater, take a dip in the private pool. Enjoy the hot/cold shower on your way! Ocean Isle is the perfect memory making location and this is the spot to call home while you make them. Multiple hangout areas, for everyone's personal version of the perfect vacation, each large enough to include all. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom, including the bunkroom. An additional twin/trundle daybed and queen sized air mattress will accommodate the overflow guests (please bring your own sheets for these beds-one queen, two twins). The well-equipped kitchen is large enough for all of the helping hands! The elevator will make unloading groceries a breeze. The grilling space now has a nice shaded area for company to sit comfortably, while the burgers are being flipped. New EV Destination Charger - bring your 50A (4 prong) charging cable and enjoy 8 kWh of recharge. If your dog is joining you, please note there is a $300 pet fee. The owners have thought of everything and truly want you to have the best time! Let this be the gathering spot you’ve been dreaming of!

Perfect house for us!

Got it to Gather was a great house for our family of 12. Lots of space. The owner, Julie, was easy to communicate with and took care of any issues quickly. Well stocked kitchen with dinnerware and utensils. Lots of steps at beach access so it was nice to have elevator at house. Nice, quieter neighborhood

Great Week and Overall Awesome House

Pros: Very comfortable, clean, well decorated house. Big kitchen with everything you need. Beautiful big table that seats 10. Top front porch has great view of ocean and lots of comfortable seating. Quick walk to quieter end of the beach. Great pool area. Extra refrigerator and bar refrigerator great. Minor to improve: downstairs queen beds noisy (where frame is attached to headboard). Pool got debris from landscaping quite quickly, even after a cleaning. Ice maker doesn’t work well in kitchen refrigerator and had to fill ice trays and buy ice bags.

We had a wonderful stay here! The layout was perfect for our family that was staying there, as well as having dinner with extended family staying in other houses. The open layout and large tables made it easy for entertaining. My favorite part was the large front deck on the top floor. Plenty of seating options, and a great view and ocean breeze. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. The homeowner was very communicative leading up to the stay and during if we had any questions. The location was great, just a short walk to the public beach access, and a quick golf cart ride or bike ride to the town center. I would definitely stay again!

A Memorial Day Weekend to Remember

We had an amazing stay in Julie’s vacation home. Our party consisted of 11 adults, and three toddlers. She offered top notch communication from start to finish and was meticulous about providing detailed information about our stay and following up when questions arose. The home is decorated like a beach dream house, and the elevator and full size laundry machines inside the house were such a convenient addition to our trip. The home is extremely well stocked with supplies from dishes to coffee pots, one regular pot and one Keurig. There is every utensil we could have wanted, and the stainless travel mugs were much appreciated to bring drinks down to the pool and the beach. Sheets and towels are provided, but do be prepared to put them on the beds and in the bathrooms upon arrival. I always find knowing things like this ahead of time helps with planning. We absolutely loved the heated pool option, too! We brought our own beach towels, but they had two beach chairs, a pool umbrella, several boogie boards and floats, along with pool noodles, in the pool closet, which was so helpful! The outdoor deck space was amazing, and all the games provided evening entertainment. The upper deck provided an amazing unobstructed view that we thoroughly appreciated every morning. Beach access was an incredibly short and very easy walk (even for the kiddos) and the beach was beautiful! We absolutely loved this area, and would love to return. We will be sure to book with Julie again when we do!

Excellent Thanksgiving Getaway

This was our second Thanksgiving in Ocean Isle and this house surpassed our expectations. We were looking for a house to bring our dog who loves the beach as much as we do and Julie's house was an amazing spot. Julie was super communicative and checked in on us and answered any questions we had. This house was super well stocked- from the full sized shampoo bottles and hand soap in the bathrooms, to the spice drawer and well equipped kitchen- it was the best place to have Thanksgiving! Last year we had to run out to the store over and over but Julie's house had it all- including 2 first aid kits and travel mugs for our hot chocolate for the Christmas boat parade. The large porches outside were perfect for sunbathing and the heated pool in November couldn't be nicer. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanksgiving at the beach is my favorite!!

beautiful beach stay - even in a tropical storm

The house is beautiful. It is in an excellent location. Great views from the balcony. Unfortunately our week was crashed by Tropical Storm Debby, however, the host was absolutely wonderful as the storm developed through the week. We had no worries or concerns - she was helpful in every way possible. We ended up riding it out and all was fine. They have a wonderful game/puzzle cabinet that came in handy! Highly recommend!

A Great Week at the Beach!

We enjoyed the layout of this property for 8 adults and 3 grandchildren. Kitchen and dining area on the second (top) floor was spacious and well equipped (including a highchair) We especially liked the large porch off the top floor that accommodated all of us to gather with lots of space, including a large table for outside meals and snacks. The pool was good with lots of sun in the afternoon; the soccer tent we brought, however, did provide much needed shade. The bedrooms were spacious and the “Pac N Play” provided by the owners was much appreciated for our youngest grandchild (15 months). Beach access was easy with a short walk. Use of the elevator was a plus, especially for our son-in-law on crutches. In two previous years we stayed south of this property, on Private Dr. off of West 2nd St. This property is on East 2nd St.; our experience was that it was less congested (at least for this year). The owner (Julie) was very good with communication and answering questions. Overall, we highly recommend this property – so much so, we have reserved it for next year!

Great week in a great house

Everything about this home was amazing! We had plenty of beds and rooms, fully equipped kitchen, great views (we spent LOTS of time on the upper balcony enjoying the surf and breeze). There were tons of linens and towels in this beautiful home as well. We enjoyed the pool and being so close to beach access. OIB is a wonderful family destination - clean, spacious beaches without all the commercial chaos of MB and others. The homeowner, Julie was an excellent host, responding almost immediately to any inquiry. We would love to stay again in this property.

Worth every penny, perfect touches around every corner

We have been coming to OIB for years, but had outgrown our usual condo rental option, so we started the search for a bigger, dog-friendly home with a pool. Julie was responsive from the start, out of the three properties we were looking at staying, she was quickest to reply and personable - I immediately had a good feeling about this one. From the moment we arrived, the house was in the perfect location - just a couple of houses down on the opposite side of the street was the public beach access, perfect distance for a big family and lots of stuff :) We brought our dogs with and they are older, so the elevator came in super handy for them (and our stuff too!). Julie's modern and updated home offered up several bedrooms (all with their own bathrooms), decks with outdoor patios on every level, and an open kitchen, dining, and living layout to die for! The gathering area opened to a huge deck, with an unobstructed view of the ocean and tons of outdoor furniture to enjoy family time both indoors and outdoors. There were bed linens on all the beds, plenty of fresh towels for all of us, and tons of dishes, silverware and cookware (items hard to come by with other VRBOs). We opted for the heated pool, which was perfect for a not-so-warm spring break stay. Lastly, Julie made sure to make our stay extra special by providing yummy dog treats for our fur babies - the perfect touch! We will definitely be choosing Julie's place again for our next visit to OIB! Thank you, Julie!!!

Perfect Beach House Getaway

We had the most incredible stay at this beach home! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away. The house itself is a gem - spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location couldn't have been better. Just steps away from the beach. Inside, the house is a haven of comfort and luxury. The bedrooms are inviting, each offering a peaceful retreat after a day of fun in the sun. The kitchen is well-appointed with modern appliances, making meal preparation a breeze. We especially loved dining on the spacious deck, enjoying the ocean breeze, the sound of the waves crashing, and taking in beautiful sunsets. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. They provided us with valuable recommendations for local activities and dining options, adding to the overall experience. We cannot recommend this beach house highly enough. We're already planning our next trip back - we can't wait to return to this slice of paradise!

Great vacation house

This was our second time staying in this home. The first with Julie. Julie has made a lot of upgrades to the home that makes staying there enjoyable. Navigating the smart TV and streaming services was a little tricky for older members of of group but we managed. Most of our mornings and evenings were spent of the large decks play games, having breakfast or just relaxing. September is perfect here with little crowds and nice temperatures. Thanks Julie for allowing us to stay in your home. We would definitely come back.
