«Dirty linens! We booked very late and options were few, but thought that Holiday Inn couldn’t go terribly wrong. When we checked in, the beds were neatly made in our room, but linens not changed from the previous guest. Lots of small hair and other dirt in the bed. When we told the reception, they offered to change, but didn’t seem surprised and offered no compensation or real apology. The balcony was absolutely disgusting it was sticky, there were things melted on it and gum. The air conditioning felt cold and sticky in the room there was no way to adjust it. «The desk personnel were incredible, the service staff should be terminated at once. We had issues with no batteries in the remote , one remote had no back, we had to constantly bug the staff about towels, and we asked the service crew to find a broom so we could sweep our floor because of the sand . The lady said she had to go get the broom and she would sweep the floor as part of the service. Floor was never swept and when my Wife asked her about the flood she said she forgot . «My wife and I had such a wonderful weekend stay at the Lighthouse Club Hotel in Ocean City! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The room was absolutely gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the parking was easy and convenient. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful balcony with such a great view. «Even though I've booked this at least 2.5 months back, we were put on the pet floor (we didn't have pets with us). Constant barking in all the rooms. The refrigerator stopped working the 2nd night so all of our perishables in the fridget went bad. I told the management and nothing was done about it.»
