~Carolina Tides~ Ocean View, Pier, Pool, Steps to the Beach and Restaurants!

Carolina Tides is a modern, two-bedroom, two-bath beach villa located on Oak Island NC. We have a well-supplied kitchen, cable TV, WiFi, washer / dryer, direct beach access, seasonal swimming pool & hot tub (seasonal, April 15 thru October 15), elevator, free parking and much more. This villa is an end-unit on the quiet side with lots of natural light. Our complex is in the perfect "vacation location", directly across from the Yaupon Beach Fishing Pier, Koko Cabana bar and restaurant, Ruby's coffee shop, and the Lazy Turtle Bar and Grille just a block away. Also, less than a mile to the East is Oak Island Golf Club and their new Duffer's Pub and Grille. Enjoy palm trees and ocean views right from your porch. There is also a shared outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Oak Island Lighthouse is about a three mile walk along the beach to the East. Just off the island is the beautiful and historic town of Southport, NC.

*PLEASE NOTE:
1) Our HOA prohibits boats, trailers and golf carts on the property. We apologize if this is an issue but we are unable to accommodate any type of trailer.
2) We have a pull-out Queen-sized couch and can sleep up to 6 guests. However, our linen contract only provides for the two bedrooms and 4 guests. If your party has up to 6 guests, you can use the pull-out couch but you will need to bring your own queen sized linens, pillow cases and bath towels for the additional guests above 4. Please message me for details.
3) No pets.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Carolina tides. The property was very clean when we arrived, the condo is well stocked with utensils and essentials, and very comfortable. The location across from the pier was outstanding for easy beach access and we really appreciated the included parking. Linens and towels were provided, a nice feature given that not all properties provide them. We were on the beach in less than three minutes. We’ve had some very good vrbo hosts in the past but Eric is one of the best. He immediately responded to our questions before arrival, provided a comprehensive information sheet about the property and guidelines and checked in with us by text during our stay to make sure we were enjoying our visit. The whole process of checking in was so easy with his guidance

Perfect vacation spot!

This place was perfect for our family of four! The condo is beautiful, and the entire complex is well maintained. The pool was very clean! The beach right across the street was nice and easy with young children. The owner was accessible and very communicative in case we needed anything. Oak Island is our family’s favorite vacation spot! Everything you need or want is right there. You’ll love this vacation, so book it!

This was our second time staying here. We love this condo. The owner is accessible any time you need him ; the condo is clean and looks just like the picture. It’s close to shops and there is alot to do there. Check in and out is simple. We will be staying here again.

Steps from the sand, miles from stress!

A much-needed escape that exceeded expectations! The rental was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and just steps from the sand and waves. It was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and soak in the beauty of ocean! The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful—available right away for any questions. Highly recommend and will absolutely book again!"
Area is safe, quiet. Sitting on the deck you can see and hear the waves for a refreshing start to the morning or end to your evening. Parking safe, convenient/well lit. Walkway/elevator very convenient/easily accessible.

Perfect location!

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect! Cute, clean, and the perfect location. Just steps from the beach, local coffee shop and restaurant. Eric, the owner, is fantastic to work with. We can’t wait to stay here again!!

Welcoming in 2025!

We have been coming to OKI for many years now but first time over New Years. We love Eric’s place! Exceptionally clean, easy check in, and a great location! The condo is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Eric is also an excellent host! He makes sure you have what you need! Before we came, I asked him if he had a crock pot and he was sure there was one but if there wasn’t he would have had one sent!! Thank you Eric for sharing your place and we will definitely be back!!

Family Together Time

The great condo and super location made our family get away terrific. The higher end condo has super nice appliances, a superb, furnished kitchen, and comfortable bathrooms. The bottom level with underneath parking made access easy. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the Oak Island Pier. It is a nice pier with good fishing, an attached shop and an attached restaurant - the Koko Cabana. We watched the waves and the beach while eating great food at the Koko Cabana! Also, Shagger Jacks restaurant, our favorite, is right around the corner from the complex. A number of other restaurants and other retail facilities are nearby. We look forward to returning soon!

Carolina Tides

Carolina Tides is a great place to stay. The accommodations are top notch and the owner is top notch as well. The location is the best part of staying at Carolina tides. You have the beach, restaurants, and the fishing pier just across the street. I for one will be coming back to Oak Island and Carolina Tides will be the 1st place I check for availability.i could go on and on, but I think you get the drift. Beautiful condo at oak island

Beautiful condo located in a great area of yupon dunes. The area is walking distance to the beach with easy access and a great area to take walks. The condo is exactly how the pictures and descriptions describe with anything you would need for the week to keep you comfortable. The host was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in earlier than the check in time since the cleaning was complete. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back!

Awesome location!

This condo is a very short walk from the ocean! The unit was very clean, well stocked, and nicely decorayed. Eric was a wonderful communicator and I appreciated the level of detail in his guest book. Great place for a couple or a small family visiting Oak Island!

Great experience!

This was the perfect rental for our family of 4! From before our stay until the day we left, communication with the owners was timely and thorough. The unit was spacious and in a great location on the island. Everything was in clean, working order, and there were a number of 'little things' that made our stay pleasant, such as playing cards/board games and charging ports on the nightstands. Having convenient parking and pool access were great. Instructions for everything in the unit and upon departure were simple to follow. We will definitely recommend to others and stay there again if we return to Oak Island!

Love Carolina Tides and OKI

Second time at Carolina Tides, great place with the Beach, pool, and places to eat just a few steps away! Eric is wonderful to work with! On this trip we were able tp play Pickleball at Middleton Park with the locals and 12 new courts! What a fun group!

Great beach condo!

I brought my 3 kids by myself for spring break and the proximity to the beach and pier made this trip doable! The condo is exactly as pictured and super clean. Communication was the best we’ve encountered and we were even offered early check-in without asking. We will totally stay here again!

Great Condo

Very clean and neat Condo! The Ocean and Fishing Pier are across the street. The owner was great to communicate with, he even helped me find a must see TV show via text! Will definitely rent this unit again. Oak Island rocks!

The property was just as stated. The check in was a simple process and the property was very nice. It was nice that it was across from the beach and pier. We would walk the pier every morning and night. I would not hesitate to stay their again.
