Disappointing overall stay
First impression on accessing the spiral staircase to get to the room was poor with laundry, boxes, kitchen rolls stacked around the floor area. Room no 1 had mould growing/flakey paint on the bathroom ceiling plus the huge kitchen fan directly outside the window started operating noisily at 6.30am! Hotel staff moved us to another room for our 2nd night. Food good but not available on Sunday evening, although the staff kindly made my husband a sandwich as a favour.

We had a one night stay for an event locally. The room was very night and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast next morning was very good and freshly cooked. Would stay again without hesitation.

Stayed here for 1 night The rooms were lovely and clean, not noisy at all, it was nice and quiet. (staying above a pub is always a concern) We dined in and the food was delicious, freshly cooked to order, restaurant quality and a reasonable price . Breakfast was delicious, quality produce. We would definitely stay again! The staff even went out of their way to put up a birthday banner and balloons for one of our parties birthdays. Thank you for a great stay!

Peaceful, quiet, comfortable. Good quality evening meal. Decent shower, huge towels, access to rooms via a circular staircase. Excellent service, good value. Would definitely stay again..

Good weekend venue.
I stayed over a weekend for a motor sport event at Snetterton. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Hopefully in time the menu will be more extensive. This will encourage visitors to return.

Good place but village quiet with limited options
A pleasant and efficient stay. The room is good quality but could do with blackout curtains in my view. The area is very quiet; I didn't see any shops, or restaurants open after 8.30 PM, so it's a bit difficult if you arrive there late. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great, starting at 07:00. Snetterton circuit is a 5-minute drive away.

Handy place in a pretty village
Great handy place with lovely countryside around for running and walking. Handy for A11. Large car park, friendly and helpful team. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable.

The George and dragon is closed
Turned up 13/7/2018 having booked in May, place had signs up saying looking for new tenants ! so they took my money and not even an Email so out of pocket by £65, had to find a place in a hurry and managed to get in to The Angel just off the A11, book there and save yourself the trouble.

Terrible and shocking as we had booked this accommodation for 3 nights and had to scrabble to find a new place to stay on our own without internet access.

Hotel closed
I booked this hotel through Expedia 1 week before my stay. I arrived at the hotel to find it completely closed, no one about to ask anything and a huge FOR SALE sign outside. No one was answering the phone of the number on my booking confirmation so I had to find accommodation elsewhere. I can’t believe Expedia or any other hotel letting site would still take bookings for clearly CLOSED hotel. It even says ‘Perminantly closed’ on their website.

Cannot rate a hotel that isn't open. Turned up after booking thweek before to find that the hotel was closed until further notice. Looked very much like it had been closed for a while. Not happy. Had to re-arrange the whole night at very short notice and further expense. Cannot understand why this hotel is still on the website taking bookings?

Been shut for months .... Do NOT book
Arrived here after very long , busy and wet days racing at Snetterton, to find a 'closed for business' sign outside . The local pub (swan) i think , had no rooms but a nice pint and friendly staff who found us the number for other local hotels. But informed us that the George and Dragon had been closed for around 3 months !! Shocked as i only booked and paid for it on Expedia 2 weeks prior!

Weekend break
A lovely pub with great staff. Food was delicious,had breakfast and an evening meal and would highly recommend the grub. Room was comfortable, decor nice just needs some attention in the shower cubicle. Would stay again. Thank you George and Dragon.

A quick trip to Norfolk
The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from Norwich, easy to find. Great food and very helpful staff. No hesitation in recommending.

Great restaurant and staff
Great location if you are racing at Snetterton Circuit. Easy parking facilities. Fabulous restaurant and the staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are a little dated, but very clean with good bathrooms. Be prepared to be awake until the pub closes or parties have finished and unfortunately the cooking smells from below will travel up to your rooms. Overall good stay but not very restful after a long drive.

Two rubbish nights sleep !
If you are a light sleeper stay well away. For what ever reason the pub decided to triple glaze the bedroom window. But this made absolutly no difference to the noise coming up from the pub below. I might as well taken my bed downstairs, it would have made no difference to the noise.

Lovely village location
We stayed here to break our journey to the Suffolk coast. The welcome was very pleasing and the room was clean and excellent value for money. We had a meal on the evening which was lovely and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice. They also served loose leaf tea which was delicious.

The pub was very nice, rooms are very clean and bed is comfortable. Bathroom is in need of a refit but is still very clean. Overall for the price excellent room, the location was lovely and staff very polite and helpful.
