The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt even though I arrived in the middle of a heatwave. Breakfast is served in the bar area. Breakfast is paid for separately on a menu basis. There is a good choice of items available. I ate at the bar on the four evenings I was there. Again there was a choice of items available and portions were more than adequate. The atmosphere is very much that of the local village pub. Highly recommended. I chose the place purely on location, as I wanted to visit different locations in the county. If I visit the area again I would certainly consider staying here!
