The former gamekeeper’s cottage, which has underfloor heating making it cosy for winter stays, has a superb contemporary style that makes use of original features. A beautiful brick fireplace surrounds a wood burner in the lounge; light it and snuggle up on the sofas in the evening. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen and eat at the dining table among exposed beams and another wood burner, looking out towards the lake through the patio doors. Upstairs, sumptuous bedrooms with wood beams and peaceful, earthy decor ensure that you get a good night’s sleep ready for the day ahead.

See the UK’s largest indoor modelling attraction at Wroxham Miniature Worlds or book a trip on the Bure Valley Railway (both 7 miles) which takes you on an 18-mile round trip through stunning North Norfolk countryside.
