Welcome to our lakeside cottage retreat! Nestled beside the serene waters of Huron Lake, our charming cottage offers the perfect escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

One of the main highlights of our cottage is the breathtaking sunset view that graces the horizon each evening. As the sun slowly descends, painting the sky with hues of gold and pink, you'll find yourself captivated by the beauty that unfolds before your eyes. The crystal-clear waters of Huron Lake create a stunning backdrop, reflecting the vibrant colours and adding to the enchantment of the scene.

Beyond the stunning sunset views, our cottage's location provides easy access to several nearby attractions. The charming town of Tobermory is just a short drive away, known for its picturesque harbour, quaint shops, and delicious local cuisine. Stroll along the waterfront, explore the unique boutiques, and treat yourself to a memorable dining experience.

Nature enthusiasts will delight in the proximity to the Bruce Peninsula National Park, a haven for hikers and outdoor adventurers. Discover scenic trails that wind through ancient forests, lead to breathtaking lookout points, and offer glimpses of stunning wildlife. The park also boasts the famous Grotto, a natural sea cave with sparkling blue waters, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Singing Sands Beach is within reach for beach lovers, offering a pristine shoreline with soft sand and calm waters. Spend the day basking in the sun, building sandcastles, or taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

Furthermore, we understand that your pets are part of the family, so our cottage is pet-friendly. You can bring your furry companions along to join in on outdoor adventures and create memories together.

Please note that we will NOT provide the following items: bedding & linens such as towels, bedsheets, blankets, and duvets, but we have pillows. Guests must bring their own linens. And we only accept Saturday-to-Saturday weekly bookings during the hot season.

We loved our stay. The property is gorgeous and the view is amazing. Everything was nicely arranged both inside and outside. We were lucky to have a couple of fires by the lake and you can’t beat the setup and the view. Michael was great answering all of our questions. This was the perfect home base to explore Tobermory and the nearby national parks.

Communications with Michael was great, check-in was easy and all the instructions and informations about the property or the area were easily accessible and very helpful. The place was charming and had everything our family needed. The wonderful access to the lake and the beautiful sunsets were the highlights of our stay.

All aspects of the property were as expected, which was great. A different individual would be suggested to provide a more thorough clean between guests such as windows (sills of windows inside the house and the outside window panes) and the baseboards inside the house.

A very comfortable cottage almost inside a beautiful National Park

Bruce Peninsula National Park is beautiful, ant cottages line the Lake Huron shore just south of Singing Sands Beach. That is where this lovely cottage is located. But we have learned that beautiful locations are not enough for a great stay. You need a well equipped place with a great host. This location has all three - location, wonderful place to stay, and great host.

Great spot and view

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean. The hosts provided us with all the info we needed. The view was absolutely stunning (I actually don’t think the pictures do it justice). We just wished that the beds had blankets/duvets as it takes up a lot of space in the car to pack blankets for everyone.

Home again!

My husband's family were the original owners until we sold a few years back. When we booked we were so excited to be back to see our little piece of paradise. We were so happy to see all the improvements made. The cottage is wonderfully set up and so clean. The huge deck is absolutely lovely for dinners outside and enjoying the view Our hosts were wonderfully quick to respond to any of our questions. This vacation was like going back home again! We enjoyed it so much.

Wonderful holiday

The cottage is in pristine condition everything looks clean and fresh. The property is private and comfortably set up to take in the beautiful sunsets and the sound of the surf. It was also great to see our dog enjoying herself! It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the Bruce Peninsula.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour en famille avec nos deux enfants et mes parents. Coup de cœur pour le kayak à l’heure du coucher de soleil. Il est très agréable de se baigner dans le lac. L’emplacement est tout simplement parfait. Des chaussures d’eau rendent l’expérience plus agréable. Le chalet est chaleureux et très bien équipé. Michael, le propriétaire répond rapidement à nos questions et se soucie d’améliorer la qualité de l’expérience. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la passe d’exploration des parcs Canada offerte pour le temps du sejour.

Bruce Peninsula Getaway

Wonderful trip

We had a great time at this cottage. The lakeside location was gorgeous. We loved that Singing Sands beach was so close (less than 10 min drive) and proximity to the grocery store and restaurants/shops was great (less than 20 min drive). Check in was very simple, the cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts were quick to respond to and resolve any concerns we had. I hope we can stay here again!
