«Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. »

«When we arrived we discovered we’d been upgraded to the character room - it was spotless - the gent who checked us in was polite and helpful - bed comfy - room amenities were good and cooked breakfast was 5* - proper Cumberland sausage and great bacon and egg! »

«Food was cooked to order and every meal was so good. There was plenty of choice and there was no problem when I asked for salad instead of chips. The plates were full of good tasty food. The bed was so comfortable that we slept through the nights.»

«Free parking friendly staff nice clean room only thing in room one the gas wall radiator wasn't working needs attention from maintenance as the bathroom was cold. Nice dinner and breakfast enjoyed my stay would come back again. »
