«It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. «East to find nice and clean let down by no welcome pack , really badly scratched non stick pan (should be binned) biggest problem no ventilation at all in the bedroom small rooflight in the small ensuite .booked for a week left 2 days early due to no way of getting any fresh air in the bedroom way to warm. A rooflight in the bedroom would solve the problem .»

No other form of heating in the lounge i.e a fire Beds uncomfortable because two singles pushed together which easily moved. Fix the heating and the beds and I would give it 5 stars »

«Lake View Cottage is easy to locate with plenty of parking spaces with easy access to the North Lakes' attractions as well as the coast. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well designed and with all the necessary, easy to use, self catering appliances. The views of Skidaw and Blencathra from the lounge, kitchen and private patio are outstanding. The staff at Keswick Cottages were also very approachable, friendly and helpful. We would definitely use Keswick Cottages and Lake View Cottage again.»

«Rosebank is a very clean, comfortable cottage. «We have had several visits to Appletree. It is a brilliant venue for family/group get togethers. It is very comfortable and very well equipped, always immaculate. The new garden chairs are extremely comfortable and the garden parasol was an essential for our wall to wall sunny week - incredibly, not a drop of rain all week! We would always return here ..... when available.A word about the staff at Keswick Cottages, they are great to deal with as we have found over the years, nothing is too much ...
