«Stayed at Vineyard Cottages for five nights with our 2 year old son. Had a fantastic stay, very much thanks to the warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings. The cabins have a nice outdoor terrace on the front and in the back, beds are comfortable and the small details like really nice bathroom amenities made the stay perfect. The The Hunting Lodge vineyard wine cellar and restaurant is just next door and offers great food and tastings. »

«What a beautiful spot! We spent the night here for our anniversary and it was just magical. Looking out onto rolling hills and the bath on the balcony made romantic by the extra little touches of pretty lights candles and bubble bath provided by Vaughan. He also let us feed the baby calves and then we went down to the 2 cows to feed them. Prince the horse was out in the paddock so we didn’t get to say hello but Vaughan made our stay very welcoming. «The most magical, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. If you’re ever in Auckland, treat yourself one night to this beautiful cottage - and ask for the Olive Cottage if possible! You get a private path right to the vineyard/ restaurant! Everything was just perfect during our stay. And the sunsets are breathtaking. Plus the amazing staff leaves fresh breakfast for you each day!»

«Hughly recommended if you want to get away - the location is so beautiful, forest as far as the eye can see, with your own private forest walk. The house itself is amazing too - clean, modern, just like the pictures. The host is very reaponsive, couldn't fault it, 5 stars»
