«The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. «What a lovely home, thoughtfully decorated and fantastic location! We found the communication with the owners was super great, check in and check out were seamless. The fireplace on the outside porch was a very nice treat! «This is a great place to stay! There is so much room for people. The third floor king suite has its own little sitting area and bathroom. The main floor has a huge dinner table and sitting space for folks. Then downstairs has a whole couch pool table video games. There was so much space that no one felt cramped or tripping over each other. The drive from the Richmond airport was super easy until about the last two twisty miles; if you are arriving after dark, study the map so you know what to expect. I loved that it was so close to Shenandoah National Park.
