Cozy Beachfront condo + Free Attraction Tickets!

This cozy 1 Bedroom, 2 Bath loft condo is perfect for a small family but can accommodate up to 6 with 2 Queen beds in the master bedroom and 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper in the living room.

This is a 3rd floor unit (no elevator) with a large oceanfront balcony with great view off of the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 TV's and washer/dryer. The master bedroom is up the spiral staircase in the loft.

Nautical Watch is located in the "Family Friendly" Windy Hill Section of North Myrtle Beach so you are close to all the major attractions without being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. This property offers a street side outdoor pool, 2 sundecks, outside showers, grill facilities, on-site parking and free wifi. There is NO elevator.

2025 Family Vacation

The property was just as listed. The upstairs area was larger and nicer than anticipated. If you need to use the pull out couch I highly suggest bringing a pillow top covering for it. I used a ful size and it worked fine. The frame was broken at the couch back rest area so when you sleep you must have your head at the opposite end but overall it slept fine. The upstairs beds were comfortable and nice. The door to the upstairs balcony had a broken handle that was supposed to be fixed while we were there but the guy never came back. It wasn’t an issue however. The tv was only able to be used on airplay from our phone. I used all the instruction on how to get cable or other media to work and nothing would. It seemed locked. If you want to use AirPlay Nikki’s tv is the correct choice. The area was nice being slightly away from the high rise condos. However it is close to public parking beach access and every afternoon our area was very crowded with people who were rowdier than the daytime occupants. It made beach fishing in the evening impossible. The condo comes equipped with all your needs and the washer dryer worked well and way more efficient than I believed it could be with its smaller size. I was very happy with it. My family had a wonderful time.

Nautical Watch is more like Watch Out!!!

The property was unacceptable, within the first ten minutes of arriving a vent was leaking from the ceiling. Maintenance did come and look at it. We were told it was condensation and not to worry about it...um ok? What about when we use the bathroom or get ready and water is dripping on our heads? The property was disgusting. Rusted old refrigerator (not shown in pictures on the website), mysterious liquid oozing from electrical outlets, baseboards were filthy, and we couldn't use the washer and dryer because of the hideous sound it made, machines completely saturated with sand, literally falling out when opening the doors. Huge cracks in the walls and the ceiling was peeling and exposed spackling. I won't bore you with the details of the stained furniture. Residents/private owners that live at this complex were rude and made people so uncomfortable, we avoided the pool when they were there. Based on the nasty comments made towards vacationers this seemed to be exactly what they wanted. The advertisement for this property is an absolute misrepresentation. I don't know how the cheap owner/s can stomach charging people for this garbage can of so-called real estate. I will add the view was beautiful and beach access was convenient, however, that does not excuse a distorted portrayal and poor conditions.

Good location. Good views. For most part, it appeared clean. Except for around and under beds. The porch swing back was broke and difficult to sit in. It definitely needs updating throughout. The spiral staircase is very narrow. Sent message to manager about swing and a few holes in walls as I didn’t want the blame but never got a response.

Good but would choose another unit next time.

Overall a good property, good location. Spiral staircase is right for big suitcases or anyone with mobility issues. Unit could use a deep clean (baseboards) and new coat of paint. Beds could use new bedspreads, we bought cheap ones from Walmart for our stay. Largest issue was the upstairs AC. It is a portable unit with the hose going outside that someone tried to rig up with plywood and duck tape. Did not hold well, constantly letting in hot air.

Convenient & Peaceful

I love staying at the Nautical Watch - it’s close to everything but you are in a quiet location. There is a hamburger joe’s and a great ice cream parlor just down the road. The property is easy to get in to and just steps from the beach. I loved having 2 balconies with this room - it was nice being able to lay out on the top deck with privacy. I would stay here again!

Great location

The condo is right on the beach with a great view of the ocean, which was even better than I expected. We found the beds to be comfortable and the condo was clean when we arrived. Check in process was super easy. The condo itself could do with a few upgrades and there are a few maintenance items that need attention. The spiral stairs going up to the bedroom are very tight and would not be good for anyone with mobility issues. Overall I would say we received good value for what we paid.

Maintenance upkeep totally necessary by owner

Once we got in place was dirty. Dust everywhere, fridge had rust, windows dirty, toilet downstairs needs repair, a bit of mold, stove dirty, linen ( pillow case and duvet ) had stains and problems with shower knob. Day two, took shower upstairs but water wasn't draining and 15 minutes later all the water that remained in shower leaked downstairs in living room area. Quick reaction, we got buckets and later had to clean up. Other than that place is very spacious with a beautiful view. Gave 2 stars because of view and location. Definitely not a repeat for us because of cleanliness.

Run down Condo

The condo was dirty and very rundown. The baseboards looked like they had not been washed or painted in many years. The kitchen sink is original to the condo. The porcelain is chipping in many placed and the bottom of the sink is rusting. Make sure your up to date with your tetanus shot. The refrigerator is rusted and dented. The downstairs TV had no working cable to it so it only had streaming. The upstairs TV did work. The downstairs toilet didn't flush properly so you have to go upstairs to use the toilet. The shame is this condo ciuld be so nice if they did some renovations.

Nice little place

Its a very laid back and causal place. Staff and other guests were very nice . Not only are you steps from the beach but also close to a lot of the attractions and restaurants. Love the two balconies and the spiral staircase a little small but pretty cool. Speaking of stairs...you do have to a few flights of stairs you have to walk up since there is no evaluator. Word to the wise....pack light!! There is a covered storage area were people kept their beach chairs, umbrellas, wagons, etc. For the most part it was quiet but the walls are a little thin. There is a sign on the fridge that asked that you be mindful of the neighbors for that reason but honestly the only noise we heard was a muffled sound of a TV in the morning from the room below us. Over all my husband and I had a wonderful time and we would stay here again.

Good overall experience

We had a nice stay at this condo. Views were great, beds were comfortable, overall a good experience. Generally, the place was nice but could use a few changes. One change that would mean a lot to guests would be adding towel hooks on the inside and outside of each of the bathroom doors so guest can hang their beach towels and swimsuits. Hooks could/should be added in the entry hallway also. The next thing would be adding plastic or felt sliders to the kitchen chairs so they don’t screech on the floors any time you move them. It would also be nice if there was a can opener that wasn’t frozen shut from rust. The only other thing that would be nice is a dresser whose drawers aren’t falling out when opened. All in all, this was a nice place, comfortable couch and beds, but overall very basic and a little on the older side but still felt very clean. The complaints I have are minor and wouldn’t prevent me from staying here again.

Beautiful view- amazing balconies

Property management professional. Beautiful view and wonderful set-up with 2 levels. Spiral stairway is narrow. Downstairs toilet very slow and washer did not rinse. It was manageable and property management was notified of these at the end of our stay. Would go back!

wonderful

we had a wonderful stay it was very private and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. Its on beach beautiful view of ocean off the balcony enjoyed my coffee every morning while i listened to the ocean. check in was simple and they were wonderful at the reality office.
