    The Space:

    Nothing says 'vacation' like the beach! This beachfront condo in an oceanfront resort is the perfect choice for your next family adventure. There are several outdoor pools, kiddie pools, lazy river indoors and outdoors, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. There is a total of 18 water features on the property! If you're worried about staying in shape during your vacay, the fitness center on-site will have your back. You can pack as light as you would like considering this resort also offers on-site laundry facilities. Additional amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen with all the essentials (no dishwasher), a private balcony overlooking the beach, a flatscreen TV with cable, and free high-speed WiFi and Internet!

    Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

1635 is home away from home

Loved walking through the door to a welcoming comfort of home. Furniture was comfy, had everything i needed to cook for the week. No bringing pans, or things to eat with or on. The view is AMAZING! We sat outside in the rocking chairs and watched the sunrise & sunset. If we wanted to go out, but not go out. You have a new restaurant & bar in the hotel. Small little gift shop was nice. Had the best Key Lime ice cream!! This will be our go to every year for our vacation.

Comfortable Stay

We loved the personal touches added to the room. The books, the decor, kitchen tools. If felt like being a guest in someones home. We would stay again.

Overall Nice, but needs some work

Pool area is great! Bedroom was good size. Needed kitchen updates. Shelf to be replaced in upper cabinet and coffee maker doesn’t work. The curtain in the bedroom is to light. It looks like daylight all night long because of the exterior light. Overall it is a nice room just a few minor fixes and it would be great! And it would be perfect!

Baywatch

We had no issues checking in to the resort. There were repeated episodes where one or both of the elevators were out of order. This was a safety risk for all the guests. There was a break in a water line, resulting in no water for our unit. The smoke alarm began to chirp one evening requiring a call to maintenance. The man came and changed the battery. Within 5 minutes of him leaving the.chirp returned. We called maintenance once again He had to replace the entire unit.The ice maker only produced 8 cubes per day.The coffee pot never worked, made all the sounds but never produced coffee. We bought one at Walmart. We reported this to the front desk but nothing was doneThe pool areas were nice and enjoyable. There were not enough chaise lounges for all the guests . We discovered that people would come down in the am with beach towels and place them on the chaises saving them . Some of them were never used, just saved. The tubes for the lazy river were also hoarded by guests. The guests. With children did not supervise their children always. We will plan another visit when school is in session. The resort is beautiful just had some issues this week.
