    Unlike other rentals, this home away from home offers an unbeatable location mere steps away from the sandy shores of North Myrtle Beach. This laid-back city is the ideal place to relax, swim, fish in the ocean, work on your tan, beachcomb, and so much more. Five miles away is the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, the perfect spot to cast some fishing lines with your family or kids. Exciting adventures await at Shark Wake Park, the biggest aqua park in North Myrtle Beach and you can find it only six miles away. North Myrtle Beach is also an ideal escape for golfing–make sure to pack your clubs and visit one of the nearby clubs such as Azalea Sands Golf Club (one mile), Beachwood Golf Club, (one and a half miles), or Barefoot Resort & Golf (five miles).

    Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

    Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

    Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

    DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

    Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Baywatch Resort

The resort was great, unit was very clean. The only that was different was the communication you get with vrbo. I stay a lot thru vrbo and this was the first time the response was very slow and not thru vrbo.

Mattresses are horrible! Place was dirty. Couch was filthy! Rust on refrigerator, refrigerator stunk. Bathroom cabinet was gross. Light fixture in bathroom is rusted. Cockroaches on balcony. Toaster was disgusting. We will never stay at this resort and or this room. The picture doesn’t look like the room does now. Don’t stay here. It’s more fit for college boys!

Couldn’t sleep

The room is beautiful, the view is amazing, but the beds were so broken down that I couldn’t sleep more than 2 hours at a time. I tried each bed and they were both so broken down in the middle that they sagged. You rolled into the middle of the bed and then springs poked you. I’m afraid that this hotel will be another broken down and forgotten Myrtle Beach resort. It’s very sad.

Great room and resort

Room was great for the most part and we loved the resort. Beds were comfy and decor was nice. They lacked in pans (no skillet for eggs or taco meat for example) and the bathroom door sticks so my kids kept getting stuck. But that’s my only complaint!!

Great views!

The view from the 19th floor was great. And because we were so high up, we didn’t hear a lot of noise from the pool area. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities were nice. The condo itself had clean floors and linens, but could use a deep cleaning for corners, doors and floorboards. The bottoms of all the cabinets were peeling apart, like they had gotten wet at some point and paint was peeling around door handles. We had to ask for extra towels right away because we only were given 3 bath size towels for 5 guests. Front desk staff was very accommodating about this. Overall, a decent condo and a nice stay.

Not worth the money even for the view

When we first Walked in we noticed an odor right away. The decore was very nice though. The view was really nice! We went to turn on the TV only the TV wasn't working so we had to call downstairs to have someone come up to get the channels to work. We also discovered what the smell was and it was coming from the freezer. it smelled like rotten fish and it appears they rented the unit out knowing that it smelled this way. the prior renters had to hang pine trees, the little car pine trees hanging up. we had to buy a candle so that we could stand the smell because my grandson was gagging when we came back from the store when he walked in because it was so bad. We had set an appointment for the following morning for someone to come and check out the refrigerator because that's where it seemed like it was coming from and they were supposed to be there at 9 only no one showed all day long So finally at 6 o'clock I had to call back downstairs to get someone to come up to figure out what was going on and the girl one of the cleaning ladies came and was cleaning out the freezer and was talking about the smell and the fact that the unit was rented even knowing that the smell was there and no one fixed the smell as it was still there and we had to burn a candle because the smell just kind of permeated everything in the refrigerator and all around the kitchen area. Sleeping in the bedroom every time you turned over it made such a loud clanging noise like whether the bed was possibly gonna fall apart it was uncomfortable after all so that part was not enjoyable because every time I turned over I was making loud banging noises because of the bed frame. Talking to the front desk people they were not the most pleasant people to conversate with they were sometimes rude and and just kind of had an air about them that they just really didn't want to be there. Also, it was a lil difficult to cool with one frying pan that was more like a square crepe pan and one pot. The chairs around the table are super loud to pull in and out. Need some felt pads for those. One more thing, we couldn't decide if the bugs were there in an as usual manner or there looking for the rooted fish smell hoping for food

Cannot recommend

Although this property is mostly as-advertised, it is a very tired property. It is right on the beach, which was the thing we most wanted, and there is a large pool area with lots of activity for families. Unfortunately, our unit had a very unpleasant smell. It seemed to be coming from the refrigerator, although the fridge was completely empty. The smell was so off-putting that we would definitely not stay again.

Amazing Place even on off season

We have never been to Myrtle Beach and this resort was great! Walking distance to things, onsite dining and bar, some things were closed due to it being in February, but still had winter festivites available. So many relaxing options and you are on the beach! The balcony and full kitchen were supurb. We could have had just one king size been but there were 3 dobles instead total. It was clean enough and had all the kitchen utensils needed. We did bring our own stuff as well. Jetted tub was great, and that penthouse view is AMAZING! Didn't see other balconies or people. Nice and secluded. Will be planning a fall trip again this year. Driving 12 hours was worth it! The staff was polite as well!

Everything you could want and for a price you can’t beat!

I was only there for one night but I plan to go back ! We had nice cozy condo , that looked just like the photos online, it had a beautiful view of the ocean right outside the sliding glass doors. We were on the 19th floor so the view was amazing. The check in process was easy and the staff was very nice. They had 3 pools open and 2 jacuzzis a gym and pretty good WiFi! It’s right in the heart of North Myrtle, with plenty of restaurants and fun stores to visit. A family friendly place as well , perfect for everyone !
