«The room was beautiful and quite large size and everything was new however there is no hook to hang your clothes as they lock the wardrobe. It has small heater and 1 thin duvet which is not enough to warm the room during winter. I have to move out after 1 hour check in as it’s very cold and don’t think I would able to sleep. On top of that the owner lives upstairs and you could literally hear lots of noise and sounds like someone dragging luggage backwards and forwards. And you could hear next ...

«Amazing kitchen facilities, with everything you need to cook and drink. Teas and coffee selections with so many choices. Lovely unit with generous bedroom, pillows and space for your suitcase, clothes etc. Good bathroom though I did find the shower floor a bit slippery when wet. Check in process a breeze and lots of information to hand regarding what to do in and around Orewa. Lovely decor and felt very homely and welcoming. »

«Convenient to the local beaches we wanted to explore, interesting layout with the two detached rooms, but worked well for us. House was well stocked and had a homey feel with artwork and furniture galore. The cookie the host left were devoured by my horde in moments of arrival and greatly appreciated. Laundry, linens and kitchen were very well stocked. Unlike some places that have four forks, spoons, towels, glasses and and maybe 2 dull knives, this place had what you needed.»

«I would 100% recommend staying here - it was perfect!! Super easy check-in and friendly helpful comms leading up to it. Dog friendly and Scooby loved it (thank you). Great location: One house away from the 4 Square, the pub and the cafe/take-aways, 2 minute walk to the wharf and fishing. The house was lovely and clean and tidy and well appointed and practical. «Very basic and minimalist, but good for a short stay. The cabin is in a secluded spot surrounded by trees, a running stream, and bird calls - so it was great for nature lovers and stag gazing. This isn't an 'all-inclusive' type experience - coffee/tea/milk/shower soap is not supplied. We were impressed by the cleanliness. Suggest you bring along a blanket (we got cold in the night - the duvet and blankets provided are quite thin) and perhaps a pack of cards/portable speaker. The cabin did the ...
