The cottage was clean upon arrival and our hosts graciously left a bottle of wine and solar glasses to observe the eclipse during our stay (our reason for visiting Selkirk and this turned out to be the perfect location just for this). «My husband and I are travelling through Southern Ontario for 10 days with a focus on hitting the spring bird migration hot spots, like Long Point. This cottage is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of both wetlands and woodlands, a conservation area and a provincial park. Great place, very comfortable.»

«Had the most wonderful and relaxing time. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, very welcoming. Then there’s the view! Stunning! Mattresses and sheets were very comfortable and had the best sleep listening to the light laps of the lake. My friend and I wanted a little getaway to unwind and rejuvenate and this was the perfect place. Our hosts were most welcoming and we appreciated their kindness. Can’t wait to come back for another stress free weekend. »

A bit inconvenient to have to bring sheets, towels and kitchen dish towels, but the house is well stocked with games/activities for the kids, blankets, chairs/seating, to do laundry, soups, paper towels, garbage bags. One final item is that the yard gate is currently quite difficult to open due to the grass hump built up between and either side of the car tracks. It's not impossible to ...

«Well, as promised, we returned to this fabulous property for another getaway. We absolutely love it here! The property is great! The neighbourhood is great! You can bring your boat down for a leisurely cruise, or go fishing, as there is a channel right beside the cottage. Justin was incredibly helpful, and quick with a response, if needed! We'll be back again!»
