«The property was clean and well stocked: towels, bedding, and kitchen supplies. Whenever we had questions, Tina responded in a timely manner. We loved the facilities and the view from the back patio! We would love to stay there again, but do to my 71 year old husband's mobility issues, the steppings to the patio entrance were difficult for him to traverse.»

«The property had a beautiful setting. House was very clean and what was on the description. Gravel getting there not bad glad it hadn't rained anymore than it had. For me it was challenging communication as it came from host. VRBO, Expedia do trying to remember where I found what.»

«More clarity that pond is only catch and release in the listing. Had hoped to catch a few fish for dinner. House was amazing. Really enjoyed some downtime and it was very quiet. It was nice to be able to park in the garage. Would be a great place for family gathering also with that space.»

«Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.»

I enjoyed the character of the neighborhood--there are several places to eat within walking distance. It is an older part of the city, and the house is older too--which I appreciate, and also has some challenges. «The property was terrific. Close to downtown and points of interest. Kitchen was well appointed with an amazing gas range which made cooking easy. Host was gracious and quick to respond with answers to questions. Beds were so comfortable!!!! Especially the brass bed in the room next door to upstairs restroom. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable stay in Hanibal.»
