«The Inn was in the historic district within walking distance of old town shops and St. George Street. A tour trolley stop is right across the street. The room was very well furnished and it felt like we were stepping into the past. The full complimentary breakfast was amazing. Compliments to the chef. The staff was also very friendly. «We stayed at the Cottages on Vilano Beach. The property was quaint and charming. It was located directly on the beach, great access. They delivered breakfast each morning and provided happy hour each afternoon at the downtown location. Easy check in, excellent service and great location. Highly recommend. »

«This is such and old and historic hotel, so rating it the same as you would rate a modern hotel is really unfair. This was truly a memorable experience...and it provided a great backdrop to enjoying the great and historic town of Fernandina. We really enjoyed the backyard courtyard and front balcony that provided a great vantage point to the town activity below. Very glad we stayed here. Also, the management and staff was superb!»

«Usually I'm weary about bed and breakfasts, but this place changed my mind. The staff was absolutely incredible as well as the room I stayed in. My daughter has celiac, and they made sure there was breakfast food she could enjoy that was gluten free. When we arrived, we mentioned how we were heading to the beach. Jess, the assistant manager, hooked us up with an umbrella, chairs, towels, sunscreen, and a bag to hold it all! It was absolutely amazing.I felt right at home in this B&B and will ...

«We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The staff was friendly and the location was great. Loved the onsite parking (though a tight fit!). We didn’t give 5 stars because our shower never got warm in our room. The bath faucet did, but the shower did not and I had to take a bath and rinse my hair under the tub faucet. It wasn’t ideal. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. »

«Property was nice and the pool was nice. It was very clean. It just didn’t have TVs or decoration or porch chairs. It was a just an apartment with two beds essentially. Also, didn’t have enough bathing towels. »

«We loved the accommodation, our only complaint was a distinct smell of someone having smoked in the room. We are ex smokers so I told management we were OK with it, but wanted to make them aware we weren’t the culprits, and not to charge us the $250 fine for smoking, but now I’m home I realize our clothes smell of smoke. Other than that minor problem it was a perfect little getaway place»

«Very close to historical downtown and other shopping. What I didn’t like was dusty inside and the disposing of our trash was not super clear. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again or any other Tucker Stay property.»
