«Perfect location and the house is extremely well decorated. I was only there for Halloween event in Fernandina Beach so I did not spend much time at the B&B just to sleep. Even with the AC off, I could’ve used an extra blanket though it was a bit chilly.»

«I highly recommend this staycation. I was greeted by the owner and given a historic tour of the property . The facility was very clean and cozy, no orders or smells. «Great hotel with authentic character and charm. This is a historical property so don't expect the latest amenities, but the staff were very friendly and served a great breakfast. I look forward to staying at the Spencer House again.»

«I am so happy I found this little pearl when looking for a place to spend the night in Gainesville with my better half. The create and focus to details goes through the entire property. Each step into a new space was an experience of aesthetic in it self. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was wonderful, and everything was just a very pleasant and positiv experience.»

«ONE negative comment is the BED situation in our room. The springs are completely worn out. Recommend making sure all the beds and mattresses are updated for the most comfortable sleeping accommodations! Everything else was awesome!
Thank you»
