«I was pleasantly surprised. My experiences with any property with the word motel in it have not been great. I can say that this has been the best motel I have stayed it. Owner / front desk was pleasant, accomodating and helpful. The room was small but quaint and everything was clean. Best part the room had a view of the lake and Mackinac bridge. The property is pretty much on the beach. I thought it was thoughtful and a nice touch to have an explanation in the room of the midges and a small box ...

«Ahmad was welcoming at our check in. The room was comfortable. The toilet and shower room could have been larger. Our TV did not work during our stay. The AC although loud did keep the room nice and cool. Convenient location and fair price. The bus stop to get to the Bayshore Race or downtown was right out of the front door.»

«This is basic motel, nice & simple, a place to crash at the end of the day. For that, it is an excellent little place - clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Very close to downtown Mackinaw City - just a few minutes walk to get to the Mackinaw Crossings & tourist area. We plan on using this whenever we're in the area in the future.»

«If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. The parking lot/exterior/lobby is a bit rough. The room however, was pretty good. Comfortable and spacious. Had all the items that you wanted. We didnt use the pool but the indoor pool ...

«Our stay at Brio Beach Inn was awesome! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Grounds and beach were beautiful! We loved having a fire on the beach each night of our stay (wood provided by Brio) and met some wonderful people who were also staying there. Breakfast was just enough to start our day and included microwavable breakfast sandwiches, HB eggs, yogurt cereal, milk juice and coffee.»
