«We have been to several resorts and hotels in the Dominican republic for several years , and this place feels a bit "simple" to claim it's a 5 star hotel. The rooms are dated and the bathroom and especially the showers need a fresh up.
A hotel room is a hotel room even if you call it a Junior suite, and the junior suites at this resort is definitely noting more that a standard hotel room..

«The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It offers free parking and free breakfast, which was very convenient.
The location was great, close to attractions and activities (animators).
The room was quiet, there was no noise at night, and the bed was very comfortable. I experience a plus that it rain the night I stayed and I was able to hear the raindrops (amazing experience)
I would definitely stay here again.»

«Everything here is amazing from the view/landscape to their customer service, food, cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, flexibility/customer accommodation, etc.
My reservation was for 3 people but I wanted to have some family time with other family members, and they prepared a buffet for a total of 10 people... being able to have great family time and memories without any stress is amazing, and Yasper and his mom make this happen.

«Nuestra estancia en Villa Dulce Refugio fue extraordinaria. El lugar superó nuestras expectativas desde el principio. Es hermoso, acogedor y transmite tranquilidad y confort. La habitación estaba limpia, bien equipada y decorada con gusto. El entorno es tranquilo, seguro y rodeado de naturaleza, ideal para relajarse. Los servicios fueron excelentes y todo funcionó perfectamente. Recomiendo Villa Dulce Refugio al 100%. Es un sitio al que volveríamos sin pensarlo y merece la más alta calificación ...

«C’est un coin de paradis sur terre! Tout était presque parfait! Le personnel est très accueillant et soucieux du bien être des clients. Ils prennent au sérieux l’entretien des chambres et de la plage. Nous avons adoré! »
