A little off the coast of Venice, lies the island of Burano, known for the brightly colored fishermen's houses. Story goes that when the men went out long durations for fishing trips, the women painted and decorated their homes in free time to stay busy. The result is a picturesque town in the middle of the sea.

«Location and apartment were on point. You could walk less than 5 minutes to the Mestre Centre, about 15 minutes to Venezia Centre train station and across the road (2 mins walk) was the bus station taking you to Venice and other routes. The room we stayed in easily accommodated 5 sleepers and had two bathrooms, which was very useful. The staff overseeing yeh studios were friendly and available. Always responding to any queries. Really enjoyed our stay. »

«We stayed in the “deluxe apartment” which is extremely nice. High ceilings, large rooms, and the biggest showers I’ve experienced in Europe. The location was intentionally chosen due to its proximity to train station but you will get some foot traffic and rolling luggage due to this. But it’s close to everything in Venice. Easily walkable to main attractions or towards the grand canal if you want to get a water taxi or water bus. Would definitely stay here again. »

"First time in Venice and it could not have been better. When we planned our trip, we wanted to have a "great Venice experience" incl great location. We could not end up in a better place. The hotel is located next to the San Angelo Vaporetto stop. So going from the garage (San marco), just over "piazzale Roma"- and take linea 1. The staff in the reception is fantastic!! We were welcomed in a great way. Helpful with pointing out sights, "do's and don't's" and all info you need. We've booked a "room with portial view", but we were not only got that, but a big balcony with fantastic view over Grand Canal and Rialto Brigde. Room was not the biggest, but clean and all you need. Great breakfast with great selections of food. We had incl breakfast but not all warm dishes were incl. The hotel (in cooperation with Murano glassfactory) provided a boattrip and visit. We now we are coming back to Venice...hope soon...and this would be our place. "Why change a great/winning combination!?" Thanks to all staff. Grazie."
