«Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. «The Ironclad Inn was a welcome respite on a long drive while relocating. The beds were very comfortable, linens were beautiful, and the Inn itself was gorgeous and very well maintained. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the neighborhood is very quiet and quaint. The best part was that knowing that we had an early start and would miss breakfast, Sarah prepared smoothie bowls with fresh fruit and granola for us to take with us. A lovely gesture and much apreciated!»

«From the moment we arrived, it was a welcoming, friendly environment! We toured the Inn, which is beautiful and clean. There were delicious cookies in the dining room. The room was clean. «Had high expectations for this stay, first the good, staff, and I mean the single concierge on property was very kind, helpful and super courteous. Our complaint is with the room itself, it’s not well appointed, the bed sheets and pillows are OK but the bed is worn out and stiff ( you can feel the springs).
