«It’s a party. If you are into that, you will love it. The drinks are watered down, I’m guessing because they don’t want things to get out of control when you are day drinking. Premium bar is the real deal, but no atmosphere. Views are wonderful, staff friendly, be prepared for the bottle of wine upsell at dinner. You can ask for house wine, they don’t tell you that. Property is in need of a refresh. There is cracked tile, places that need paint, and not everything in your room will work ...

«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. And reception did change my room to one with actual sea view ...

«We stayed here for 10 days. The hotel is beautiful. Amazing view from the breakfast area (and pretty much everywhere else). Food was great. Staff was super helpful and nice, very attentive. Pool area was very nice and cozy. A short tuk-tuk ride to shops and beaches.
Absolutely would recommend. »

«We had a great week at Esh! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the property and the pool. We made use of the sauna and cold plunge daily. We even saw monkeys while hanging out on the property. Yeh breakfast was delicious and plentiful keeping us full to start the day. Although the probably is a bit outside of town, the shuttle service is convenient to get to and from t e Esh to town.»
