We had a lovely room, quite spacious. Bathroom was large with double shower. Bed was comfy. Very kind to our dog, sausages for breakfast! Hosts very friendly

Great 😊
A place with a lot of heart. Clean, toiletries provided. And coffee, tea, milk, chilled water and snacks replenished daily. Handy for the main road, beaches, brilliant bakery opposite. Kind host. Just right for an inexpensive, well-located stop-over if you’re not fussed about it being modern.

We had 2 rooms for 4 nights in June. The rooms were clean and spacious and well equipped (including a fridge for fresh milk and chilled water, tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets that were replenished each day). The TV channels didn't work on arrival but this was fixed the next day (temporary issues caused by WiFi upgrade) TV included Netflix and Prime which was a bonus. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an optional extra but well worth the additional cost - food was plentiful and freshly prepared. Ingredients were high quality and a good choice provided (we had the full English and omelettes which were excellent). Also cereals, fresh fruit, toast and cake available - probably the best breakfast we have had at any B&B. The B&B is well located about 15mins from town centre and Railway Station and a few mins from bus stops to various locations including the Atlantic Coaster to Padstow. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly stay at the Jasmine again. The only thing I might improve would be provision of written instructions for the TV as the fire stick isn't entirely intuitive.

Guest House awful!
Firstly the Tv wasn’t working which was like a very old model from the 90s / the Wi fi wasn’t working which was advertised! After mentioning the tv we had to wait around for the owner to try to fix and on our return after popping out a similar model was put in another area with the wires and extension plug in the way by one side of the bed ! We also tried 3 times to make contact with the owner at ! Also you asked us to make contact least 48 hours before with the owner and I left 3 voicemails with the lady over 2 days until they she got back to us due to her voicemail machine apparently not working! Also whilst making a cup of tea we discovered that the milk had gone off in the jug in the fridge which clearly had not been replaced! The toilet didn’t flush properly which took 6 attempts and using water from the sink using the kettle to flush down ! Lastly we couldn’t sleep through out the night due to running water water which we assumed was a water leak due to toilet but realised it wax the water pump to the Koi carp fish pond which had been turned on later in the evening and due to the heat we had to keep the window open ! We had an awful time,and paid good money to stay there! Absolutely disgusting and wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Regards Vanessa Pike .

Considering we moved here in 2002 is the 20 ,s not the nineties . Yes we have fish and I have never had any complaints about the noise . Why do you think people have apps with running water it’s suppose to be a good thing . Yes we had a problem with the nineties telly which has been replaced with a 2023 tv. Ashley explained the situation. Sorry there was Wi-Fi so a total lie there why do you think the firestick worked you need Wi-Fi for that . Your partner clearing stated you were not a morning person and that’s obviously true . You didn’t pay good money as you should of paid 10 for your beautiful dog which left a room full of clumps of hair . Our place is not absolutely disgusting as we get people returning year after year . This review tells alot more about you and not about jasmine house . Ashley went out of his way to set up an alternative tv so you could watch your concert . Yes the tv was an other nineties tv but you got to watch it though . We ate not perfect but we did try on this occasion . I’m just sorry and mortified at the same time . Probably in your case it was a good job you only stayed one night . As you might of appreciated how we go over and above for our paying customers

Great choice
Our room was ready early and we were moved into a larger room as we were staying a few days. The room had fresh milk for tea, hot chocolate sachets, chocolate biscuits and a handful of sweets that were replenished each day. The breakfast was really plentiful and we got a complimentary cream tea to keep for later in our room fridge. The access to Prime and Netflix through a Fire stick was great.

Lovely place
We had a lovely time at Jasmine house. We went there with our 2 kids and they loved the place very much too. There was a pool table inside our room too. You can order your breakfast from them and it was all lovely. Owners are very friendly and very welcoming towards guests. Hotel is not too far from the beaches and I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer homely atmosphere than a normal hotel.

The accomodation was very nice and homely. It felt like I was in my own room! :) The owners are very approachable and accommodating. Breakfast was superb. The location is good for when you want to explore Cornwall. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I enjoyed our two nights stay at Jasmine House 🏡, proprietors very welcoming and helpful 😀 our room was very nice and very good choice of breakfast 🍳, also reasonable walking distance into town, would definitely stay here again 😀😀

Lovely B&B
Myself and my 2 brothers had the family room and was a good sized room with en-suite. The beds were really comfortable and even had a fridge-freezer. The breakfast in the mornings were brilliant and both owners were really lovely and Theo the cat! Overall our stay was brill the location was perfect and I will definitely be staying there again when I get the chance to go back!

Great stay
This B&B is perfectly located with walking distance to the beach and the centre. The interior is slightly outdated but the beds are comfortable and the room is very clean. The service could not be better, the landlady is fantastic and very service-minded and makes an awesome breakfast.

Great location close to Lusty Glade beach, about a mile from the town centre. Car parking a little tight but secure. The bedroom we had in the annex was a decent size and well equipped although the fridge did leak water from the freezer section. A towel soon mopped it up. A veritable cavalcade of colour externally thanks to the well maintained flower displays. Spectacular.

A VERY ENJOYABLE 3 NIGHT STAY IN LATE JUNE 2019
Friendly, welcoming & un-stuffy proprietors. Bedroom + en-suite more than adequate. Fantastic breakfasts with real quality ingredients & no expense spared. If you cannot manage the delicious “Full English” [ which will set you up for the entire day ! ] try the Smoked Salmon, scrambled egg, tomato & toast. Such generous quantities & quite wonderful. Pets allowed. Parking tight { Sufficient for 7 cars, I think } but they’re safely off-the-road. Wouldn’t look for any other B&B should we visit Newquay again.

Perfect for a short stay! Affectionate owners!
Stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed with the quality! The hotel is very close to a great beach, the room with an en-suite bathroom is perfect for a couple. Everything is very tidy and clean, the bed is soft and comfortable. The owners are extremely helpful and attentive. Breakfast is provided and cooked on the spot. Recommend the full English breakfast for a hearty and delicious meal! Wish the owners the utmost success! Maximum recommendation for the Jasmine Hotel!

Amazing cooked breakfast. Very clean, has everything you could need from a BnB. Little touches like the water in the fridge, hand made cookies, mugs instead of tea cups - ideal.

We booked this B&B just because of the ensuit room. When we arrived, they informed us that we should use the shared bathroom, for the same price.

Lovely last min getaway. Very friendly but unobtrusive hosts. Nice breakfast and lovely home from home. Brilliant nights sleep for all of us in the family room with added nice touches that made us feel well looked after. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Never again
We stayed for a couple of nights which was enough for us. The room was right by the front door so noisy. The ensuite was an alcove in the room and so small you could not turn around so you had to walk in backwards to us the toilet and then you were unable to shut the door. There were hairs in the shower from the last person. The television didn’t work and when they were told about it they said it was the WiFi but nothing was done about it. Neither morning they could get our breakfast order right in the end we just ate what we were given.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in Stadt und Strandnäh
Nette Inhaber der kleinen Unterkunft. Die Einrichtung könnte nicht jedermanns Geschmack sein,da es sehr bunt ist 😁 . Das Frühstück war englisch und genügend! Der Strand und die Stadt ist nicht weit entfernt und man kann gut zu Fuß gehen.Restaurants und Geschäfte gibt es genügend 👍Das Zimmer war nicht so groß und zum duschen und Toilette mussten wir aus dem Zimmer in den Flur (direkt nebenan) da wir nur 1 Nacht dort waren,war es nicht schlimm

For the price, we were pleasantly surprised.
A gem of a place. Ideal for beaches and town walks. Staff warm and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful. Parking never a problem. Local shops and bank nearby.

Had an amazing stay. Room was clean and just what we wanted. The hospitality was excellent! The b&b was situated perfectly for beautiful beaches and a walk away from two. I would highly recommend staying at Jasmine house and will definitely go back next year.

We got a fixed time for Breakfast at 8:30 without the possibility to have it earlier When we came in time we were told, that the breakfast room is full and we had to wait 45 minutes in our room.!! There is not enough parking space for all the guests.

Lovely friendly host's Cindy & Ashley provide excellent service and advice on places to visit. Excellent breakfast menu. Jasmin House is well positioned in walking distance of several beaches. We would be happy to return.

Fantastic welcome friendly and accomodating.
Cindy makes the BEST breakfast ever is very obviously proud of what she does. We couldn't fault anything. Just go and stay.

Our hosts were delightful. The room we had was rather cramped and very hot even with a fan supplied. It was at the front near the road so when you were in there you had to shut the window due to the noise which made the room even hotter. It was one of the hottest days. The Bed was comfortable but the bottom fitted sheet did not fit and kept coming off. We always book places with free wifi but sadly our room didn't have that so we had to sit in the house to use wifi which at times became quite uncomfortable for all. Breakfasts were cooked to order and very good.

Thank you for your review I appreciate what you are saying about wifi but we just changed users but wifi is now up and running in all rooms. Yes that room does get extremely hot but as you noted there is a fan in thr room. There is not a lot we can do with regards to the room . . But the room is not a small room so not sure why you were cramped. Allot of people don't realise we are a bed and breakfast and not a Hotel which I think reflects in the price. I'm glad you enjoyed the breakfast though.

I had a lovely time. I didn't stay much in my room but everything worked well and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was nice as well and my children were very comfortable.
