This four-bedroom apartment occupies a clifftop position above Watergate Bay on the North Cornwall coast, with views stretching over rooftops and out to sea. Larger families seeking a holiday built around surf, sand, and coastal walks will find the bay is a hub for watersports and beach life. Watergate Bay Beach is 250 metres away – a 2-mile sweep of sand exposed to incoming Atlantic swell that attracts surfers, kayakers, and kite surfers year-round. A surf school on the beach provides lessons in surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and kite surfing. The South West Coast Path runs from the bay to Mawgan Porth and Porth Beach in one direction and the dramatic sea stacks at Bedruthan Steps in the other, with further walks leading on to Newquay and its seven bays. Surf competitions and music festivals keep the atmosphere lively throughout the year.


The first-floor living area is open-plan, topped by a barrel-rolled ceiling and lined with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that fold open onto a full-width balcony. Two sofas, two chairs, and a giant beanbag are grouped around a flame-effect electric fire, with a TV and Blu-ray player for quieter evenings. Dining space for ten is set alongside a kitchen built around a central island unit. This floor also has a separate laundry room and a cloakroom with WC. On the ground floor, the first bedroom has a super-king-size bed, a desk, and a TV, with an en-suite bathroom featuring a double shower enclosure, freestanding double-ended bath, and WC. Next door, the second bedroom also has a super-king-size bed and TV, with its own en-suite bathroom with double shower enclosure, freestanding bath, and WC. The third and fourth bedrooms each have zip-and-link beds that can be configured as super-king-size doubles or twins, plus a pull-out truckle bed, a TV, and a desk. These two rooms share a Jack and Jill en-suite bathroom accessible from both, fitted with a bath, shower enclosure, and WC. All four bedrooms have doors opening directly onto the ground-floor patio.


A full-width veranda on the first floor is furnished with a table, chairs, and sun loungers, overlooking rooftops and the bay beyond. At ground level, a patio extends from the bedroom doors. Storage at ground level includes a wetsuit rack and outside surf shower. Sedum roofs, an air-source heat pump, and brise soleil shading are built into the property. Designated parking for two cars is provided on site.
