We had a relaxing, peaceful time at this home. When we weren’t enjoying the kayaks, hot tub & spacious backyard we were able to walk into town to explore the neighborhood restaurants & beaches. It was a short, easy drive into downtown Newport. As a family with young children this was a great spot. One item to note is the floor of the living room out to the screened in porch is noticeably sloped. The house was stocked with items to cook, towels, extra linens, games, do laundry, etc, which was very much appreciated! This home is a gem!

This place was 100% as advertised and more! Check-in was effortless, the entire home was immaculate, comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. Wi-Fi access was easy and while the home was off the beaten path, it wasn't too far from it - so everything (groceries, restaurants, wineries, pharmacies) was available with a short drive! The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

The property was fantastic. Lovely view of the cove from pretty much everywhere. We loved the screened porch, outside seating under the deck, fenced in yard, and hot tub. Quiet residential area with restaurants within walking distance.

Great Getaway

We loved the house and the location. The home was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. You were able to easily communicate with a homeowner. We had one small power outage, but the home was equipped with a generator that provided adequate lighting to get us through to restoration. The kayaks came in handy for my son who loves to fish. We hope to be back next year.

Nice amenities!

I stayed here for a few days in mid June with my adult children. We enjoyed the views and the back deck and fire pit area immensely. It was a short walk to food. We especially enjoyed Sunset Cove for coffee and breakfast in the morning and for drinks and live music in the evening. Nice quiet neighborhood and just a 20ish minute drive to Newport.

Perfect place

Highly highly recommend. House itself is its own destination — the hot tub and screened in porch on the water, plus the kayaks, make it a great destination. But it’s location is ideal — 20 min from Newport, 30 from Providence, 5 from Bristol, but multiple coffee spots and restaurant/bars within walking distance

What a great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Anything you can imagine has been provided, all the way down to the kitchen "junk drawer" in case you forgot any random item! Everything was spotless and there were plenty of activities for every age. My favorite was the fire pit, while my son & bestie loved the hot tub. The downstairs game room is also great for any child/teen, with lots of board games & fooz-ball provided. The weather didn't cooperate for kayaking, but I'm sure it's great on the peaceful cove. The views are beautiful on the back deck, which is also a great place for game-night or just relaxing with a book & a drink.The owners, Robert & Corinne, are super responsive to messages, and Robert met us for check-in to show us around and answer any questions. We'd definitely love to come back!

Perfect get away; kids loved the bunkbeds!!

This home was perfect! The bunk room is on the same floor at the other beds, so good if you have small kiddos like we do. The screened in porch, the access to the water. The covered area under the porch… and an outdoor shower!! Here’s hoping we can come back in the summer!!!! 4 adults and 5 little under 7, and that laundry room perfect for the wet towels and bathing suits from the jacuzzi!! 11/10! Thank you hosts! Lovely Cozy Inviting Waterfront Retreat

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Newport VRBO! I visited with my family—my wife and two kids—and we all loved every minute. The jacuzzi was a huge hit, and the view was simply breathtaking. The property was spotless and matched the description perfectly. The hosts were fantastic and made sure everything was in place for our stay. The house is beautiful and spacious, with great features both inside and out. We enjoyed the TVs, games, and especially the outdoor amenities, like the jacuzzi and kayaks. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality family time. We would love to come back again—highly recommended!

Girls Getaway

What an absolute gem! The property was amazing. The hot tub, fire pit and game room made for great memories and laughter. A VERY special place to stay - WONDERFUL!!

My husband and I stayed the first week of September. We always enjoy bringing our dogs with us. Robert and Corinne thought of everything you could need or want. They had special touches everywhere and so many things to do around the area or just enjoy the views and home. Our dogs loved running around in the fully gated yard. We had a fire each evening and kayaked every day. Sunset Cove is a short kayak away and have great lobster BLT's and music/cocktails in the evening. I booked this property 9 months prior and we were so looking forward to visiting Rhode Island. It is simply beautiful. Thank you Robert and Corinne for your hospitality - WE WILL BE BACK!!

A Perfect Summer Getaway!

Our stay at this vacation home was absolutely fantastic! The property is a true gem, offering a blend of relaxation and adventure. Paradise found

Two adults and a dog looking for a 10-day getawary found paradise in Portsmouth. I loved everything from the house to the yard, the views, the grill, the hot tub. I made friends with the neighbors, my dog met a few rabbits. I loved being able to walk down the middle of the street. Oh, the silence! You only hear the breeze thru the trees. Beach and restaurants are an easy walk. Newport is a good 30 minutes away but it is so touristy why not just read a book on one of the two patios or on the Adirondack chairs or just nap on the grass? Unlike other homes I've rented, Robert the owner provided everything I needed so all I had to do was relax and have fun. Trust me, this is the one.

A View to Remember

This house is so lovely. If you don't have a good time during your stay, I think that's a you problem. Owner is very helpful. House is clean and well appointed- everything you need and comfortable furniture. I could sit in the screened in porch all week and be happy. Great location to walk to dinner- we barely used our car.

A Perfect Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at Rob and Corinne’s beautiful home and, if possible, it was even better than the first. Upon walking into the house your eyes are drawn to the gorgeous water view in front of you. It is truly a “wow” moment. The house is sparkling clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. Furniture and mattresses are comfortable and the owners’ attention to detail is readily apparent. Our sons and daughter-in-laws joined us for the weekend and there was plenty of room for all six of us. The weather was beautiful and afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the amazing screen porch, the beautiful yard and the hot tub. We walked to Sunset Cove for coffee each afternoon and to dinner at nearby restaurants each evening. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Easter weekend on the water!!!

This home was so beautiful and fully functional with so many amazing amenities (hot tub, games, kayaks, etc) I felt as though we were staying at a 5 star hotel! Beds were extremely comfortable, every room was fully functional and clean, I would stay again in a heart beat!
