«This was such a cute little place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our family stayed the weekend of the 50th anniversary of Expo '74 and Bloomsday and could not have been more in love with this. We decided to take Lyfts downtown and pickups were easy from the street and quick to downtown. Groceries and Restaurants are many and within a 10min drive. You get the feel of the old time cottage history with all modern updates and comforts. Mari was very responsive and an awesome host. Thank you!»

«We enjoyed our two night stay in the upper loft of the Billiken Inn. It was nicely decorated and had nice unexpected amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. It's been nicely remodeled. It was very quiet except for the train whistles. Since it is a loft unit, there were a number of times when my husband bumped his head on the angled ceiling.»

«Really lovely interior, clean, modern and comfortable main living space and great kitchen. Great location near city center and waterfront. Hosts very responsive. It was perfect for us except for one thing. Not recommended for older guests with mobility issues. Stairs to only bedroom are steep, insufficient handrail at the top. But bed is very comfy with first class linens, once you get there.»

The kitchen had all of the amenities needed and a nice coffee pot! Huge perk! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed- it was kind of hard, but I’m also very partial to my own bed. And we really enjoyed using the bikes for a lovely ride on the Centennial Trail, through McEuen Park and along the lake and riverside. «Good rec center for families. Rec center and golf course is shared with its residences so there’s a lot of old people swimming and such. I think they are still afraid of Covid, you had to bring your own cup for coffee in the lobby. »
