«5 star downstairs and outside. Grounds are superb. Room was ok... Bed was big, as was TV, but there were things that let it down. Cheap furniture, a wobbly toilet, an unsuitably small shelf in shower, cheap tea and coffee. Also only one bath towel between two, and one hand towel - no bath mat. For an expensive room (even for a Sunday) it was quite basic in lots of ways, and disappoining when compared to the plush bar and seating areas downstairs. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. ...

«Rooms ok, but service and effectivity under par. Would recommend trying other hotels in the area before going here.»

«Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.»

«The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station»

«What a lovely quaint place to stay, with everything you need to have a relaxing time, would highly recommend.»

«3 Horse shoes was great, for some reason our bedroom got mixed up, was supposed to have a family room but got a double. Staff sorted the issue, i dont know but apparenty is was an Expedia mix up. Issue was sorted by the morning even though we arrived late, cool pub with a kids soft play and decent playground. Foods nice, staff great.....»

«Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. Not ideal …. ...

«Godt værelse, god mat og en inspirerende og et muntert miljø i baren og restauranten. Kommer gjerne tilbake. »

«Room was clean but an issue with extractor fan in bathroom. Staff very approachable and polite. Spa staff were exceptional. Food was fantastic especially the breakfast.»

«We arrived later than planned because of multiple road floodings in and around Cardiff, but staff was really helpful, breakfast was tasty and the whole place was very cosy. We would have loved staying more Nights.»

«Next to the beach and close to a grocery chain shop. Weather was exceptionally hot.»

«Generally a feeling of poor cleanliness all over the hotel. Restaurant tables were sticky. Carpets and chairs were worn and full of spots. Buggs in my room!!! NEVER to be booked again!»

«It is located right at a Corner with only 1 crossing around the corner. It is heavely trafficed. A store next door to buy food for so you have something to eat in the morning til Lunch.A Chinese take away close and cheap. You get no Breakfast included. The heat is turned off at latest 20:00 and norhing til from 9:00 or sometimes later after ive left. Steep small stairs. But you get help of friendly staff. I liked Millie very much.Good Dinner. »

«Unfortunately the pool is still out of action but that aside it was a good stay. Very helpful staff very clean and comfortable room, good breakfasts, jams at the toast area gets messy and sticky perhaps a re-think needed there, parking excellent. Only grumble was the noisy extractor in our bathroom it needs replacing, we used torches to use bathroom in the night so as not to waken our neighbours but we did report it to reception and hopefully it will be fixed for next guests.
