If the coffe in the Recepcion was a bit better, this would be a perfekt stay for a fre days in Soho for shopping.

Overbooked but great service!
The hotel was overbooked so we didn't have a chance to stay at this hotel but the front desk was very helpful and had allready arranged a stay at a close by hotel with breakfast and they drove us there by hotel car free of charge (of course) so the service was overall very good and we where happy with our new hotel.

Hotellet ligger perfekt til i Soho, to kvartal fra Little Italy. Små og litt slitte rom. Gode senger! De ansatte på hotellet var fantastisk og fikset alt med et smil.

I’ve said this in other reviews, but there’s no reason to pay $500 per night in Manhattan. I’m not there for the hotel; I’m there for Manhattan. Having said that, this place gave us everything we wanted for the price: a comfortable bed, a hot shower, a clean room, and fantastic access to the rest of the city. The staff was delightful. The space was quirky and lovely. It might be a little tight for a family with kids, but for a couple traveling the single queen room was perfect. It’s truly an exemplar of what a traveler’s hotel in the city can be. Make sure to visit the Landmark Coffee and Pancake Diner across the street. The owner was a fresh dose of maternal loving we needed before traveling again. The area is imminently walkable with Chinatown, NoHo, SoHo, and Tribeca all within reach. Washington Square isn’t far. There are multiple train stops around for heading up to the park or into BK. It’s a choice stay. Remember, always be nice to staff!

We usually stay at Columbia U's guest housing but changed our travel plans and couldn't get a res, so I got on line (for a historic first and I am 80) and found this terrific small hotel in south Soho where everything (staff, location, design,etc.) was perfect. One proviso, if you ask the desk to reserve you a service to get you to Penn Station early, make sure you get a rate! Ours was $50 for a less than ten minute ride at six a.m. but our night had been so pleasant we didn't really mind and the driver, from Equador, was adorable. But you may not be retired with savings so CHECK FIRST!

Got literally scammed. I paid $133 for a room then was denied entry saying that they’re fully booked. I didn’t get a refund or a change of date. Be aware of this place

Dear Valued Guest,We wanted to follow up on your recent experience at our hotel. We noticed that you arrived on December 31, 2023, even though your reservation was for January 1, 2024. During your check-in process, our team explained that your reservation was for 01/01/204, not 12/31/2023 and that you could check in after 3:00 pm on January 1, 2024. We apologize for any confusion caused by this discrepancy. It would have been impossible to make a reservation for December 31, 2023, as our hotel was fully booked one week before that date. We even contacted Expedia to confirm the reservation date, and they confirmed that it was for January 1, 2024.
