Ærverdig og hyggelig hotell
Supert hotell med fin beliggenhet noen få kvartaler fra Central Park. Hyggelig rom med de fleste bekvemmeligheter, savnet dog en liten kaffemaskin på rommet. Treningsrommet var meget bra. Stort, rent og luftig med en helt enestående utsikt. Rent og pent, alt man kan ønske seg av treningsapparater. Basseng oppe i etasjene med enda bedre utsikt enn fra treningsrommet! Må nesten oppleves. Rooftop bar(er) som var veldig hyggelige, ble dog litt kort besøk på grunn av regnevær. Meget hyggelig og serviceinnstile personale. Ble særdeles godt tatt imot ved innsjekk og vist opp til rommet. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Best hotel in town?
Stayed here in january and was blown away. Stayed a night during my summer vacation. Jus unnelivable from stary to finish. Great staff, location, food, drinks and room. Positives: Location Staff Outdoor space Roof terracce Bar Lobby area Variety of dining Negatives: A bit pricy :)

Probably the best hotel ive stayed at
From start to finish it is great. Snall hiccup when the room we had was not as expected witj some smell. But imo these kinda things are what seperates good hotels from great. Sorted out and switced rooms effortlessly. Food, drinks, staff and the hotel itself is great. Even thou its in one of the busiest cities in the world the atmosphere makes you manage to slpw down when you come back in to the hotel.

Best luxury stay in NYC
I’ve been visiting New York for the past 20 years and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The service is wonderful! Rooms have a good size (which is odd in NY).

We loved our stay! The stay was exceptional. Just above and beyond. They were amazing. The hotel is beautiful, and we had a wonderful experience with room service. It’s fast! The rooms are beautiful but need a few updates. There are no charging ports by the bed, and the plugs by the bed didn’t work for our chargers for some reason. We had to charge them at the desk area. Although lovely and clean, the rooms need a little tech update to compete with other 5 star hotels in the area.

I recently stayed at the Peninsula Hotel, expecting a luxurious experience given the steep price of $1,500 per night. However, my expectations were met with disappointment due to several issues that should not occur at such a premium establishment. Firstly, various facilities within the room appeared outdated, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the absence of wine glasses was a noticeable oversight, considering the room's price point. I also encountered a broken drawer, which speaks to a lack of proper maintenance. More concerning was the cleanliness - the sofa was visibly dirty, and the bathroom did not meet the standard of cleanliness one would expect from a high-end hotel. These issues collectively marred what could have been an otherwise enjoyable stay. Will never book again.

Wasn't as great as I had remembered a year ago. Pro side: great location and some great staff including the bellmen. Cons: Rooms a little small. Staff was hit or miss. Room service screwed up the same order twice. Rooms are getting a bit dated. Didn't have the candy bar this time which my kids loved.

Absolutely the best in service and accommodations in NYC. All around great personalized service from Concierge to front desk to food & beverage! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary for a couple days and the The Peninsula delivered in a big way!

The Peninsula NYC is truly Outstanding! The central 5th Ave location is perfect for easy access walking to shops, parks, restaurants, theatres etc. The hotel is a wonderful example of how to receive an absolutely perfect personalized service whilst staying in true 5* luxury surroundings. Amenities, services, pool and Spa are incredible. The concierge and Guest Relations are the best that I have ever experienced in NYC; the most wonderful, special and luxurious place to stay in NYC!

Check-in process was quick and easy. Front desk staff were very responsive and helpful. The one interesting part of our stay was the accessibility of the hotel staff to the rooms. There were times where they tried to enter the room at inconvenient times. We did not have a Do not disturb sign for the room so I think that was the problem. Otherwise, we had a great time and stay.

The good: concierge staff were better than good, they were stellar; the reception staff and cleaners were lovely. The less than good was being greeted at the hotel entrance on arrival by a staff member who watched me man-handle 2 suitcases up the stairs without any offer of help; the roof bar was closed on Sunday and Monday and was much too small for demand. The restaurant was not open for dinner. All in all, I don't plan to return as there is just too much choice in NYC.
