Bra beliggenhet, men fælt hotell. Dusj på gangen som det ikke stod noe om i romomtalen og nettet fungerte aldri på rommet. Utsikt rett i en murvegg. Dyrt og dårlig!

Simple, but convenient stay with friendly employees. Clean room (and absolutely no bedbugs), but some dust around on the mopboards. The only negative was the opening of the breakfast room, which was 15 minutes late both days I was there with a lot of guests waiting. The breakfast itself was nice, with good coffee!

Great stay!
I was positively surprised by The Leo House. I had a room with a half bath, and there was never a problem to use the separate shower. In fact I never saw anyone else using it at all. Also the breakfast was great! Eggs, bacon, bagels, cakes. Loved it! The staff was always friendly and the location is great. Will definitely book this again!

Sentralt på 23rd street
Mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, visste hva jeg gikk til. Svært sentralt på 23rd street i et rolig område. Ikke nyoppusset, men rent og hyggelig.

Okisj if you are just going to sleep there and you are looking for a "cheap"hotel. If you can afford it....upgrade to another hotel.If you dont care about the room/hotel stay there, the area is nice.Gotham comedy club, cinema, barcade, flat iron building not to far, subway station nearby.....

Great location, old hotel
Had a great stay at Leo House. Really good location for this hotel in NYC, central. Singeltraveler, but I felt really safe in the area. In waalking distance to a lot of sights on Manhattan. Close to tubelines. Wifi was good, and all staff was helpful. It's an old building, both rooms and bathrooms are old, but yet functional. I would stay here for another trip in NYC

The staff at the front desk were friendly. The room was decent, but there were a couple small stains on the duvet. The shower is in another room and shared between other guests. The breakfast on Saturday was good with lots of variety. It was about a 25 minute walk to Times Square, and the area around was quiet at night.

Hotel sympathique proche des stations de métro de la 23ème rye à Chelsea. L'essentiel des activités peut se faire à pied. Petit déjeuner généreux et délicieux. Personnel sympathique. Les chambres sont simples, vintages mais le lit est confort. La chambre située côté rue est bruyante. Boules quies de rigueur. Prix ultra raisonnables pour séjourner au coeur de NYC

Au vu des prix New Yorkais, cet hôtel a été un bon rapport qualité prix. Bien que vieillissant, la propreté était au rendez-vous. Chambre de taille correcte avec placard et wc et lavabo. Nous avions choisi d’avoir la douche sur le palier, ce qui n’a pas été si désagréable. Douche toujours libre et propre au moment nous voulions y aller. Petit déjeuner excellent avec un cuisinier très sympathique. Le reste du personnel était en général sympathique bien que certains était plus antipathique. Hôtel idéalement placé sur Manhattan à deux pas du métro ce qui facilite les visites. Pas de traces de punaises de lits ni de rats. Nous avons été content de notre séjour 😊

Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique. Surtout l'équipe de la restauration au petit déjeuner Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié, différent chaque jour. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot , mais très propre et très bien situé au sud de Manhattan. Tout peut se faire en métro ou a pied pour les courageux, ce qui permet de découvrir les rue typiquement New Yorkaises.

Simple accommodations, but for the price in that part of New York City you can’t beat it. Building has a 1940’s feel about it, but everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is located very close to a subway stop so you have easy access to the whole city.

There was signage in the room stating to turn off the ac whenever leaving the room, but there was no ac control at all in room 601, was a bit hot at times and even noticed the front desk girl fanning herself

New York is top, Leohouse is sterk verouderd en eigenlijk niet meer van deze tijd. Kleine bedden geen eigen douche. Ontbijt 1e morgen was prima de dagen erna zeer beperkt.

Most staff are really friendly and helpful. Super warm, comfortable and welcoming lobby area and dining room. Complimentary breakfast was great. Clean room and bathroom but a draught came through the bottom of the bedroom window. Furnishings are tired but on the accommodation was great value. Would stay again.

The pros...fabulous Chelsea location close to transport options and can walk to all kinds of awesome things from here. Great dining options and coffee close by. Free hotel breakfast buffet with a large range of options. Tommy and Amber were wonderful on the front desk always ready with a smile and a kind word. Both a credit to the hotel. Cons....other front desk staff cold and surly bordering on rude. Even when greeted with a smile no smile in return. Housekeeping is hit and miss. Says every 4 days but my room was only cleaned once and bedding never changed, it seems completely random. I booked a long while in advance but had a lower floor room with a view of a wall and aircon machine. The worst thing though was the noise. It was awful.. old building with thin uninsulated walls so every flush of a toilet, loud voices, water running can be heard. The constant slamming of doors and corridor noise meant i didnt get a single full nights sleep and was driven mad to the point of turning the tv on to cover the noise and try to relax. It was like staying in the middle of Grand Central Station i'm sorry to say. I loved New York but would stay somewhere quieter next time. If noise doesnt bother you you would be fine here.

La première personne qui nous a accueilli n'a jamais réussi à sourire, c'était désagréable, mais toutes les autres personnes ont été très aimables. Le dernier soir, il y a eu pas mal de bruit venant de la chambre voisine. Le déjeuner du samedi était bon et copieux. Nous aurions aimé qu'il y ait un déjeuner le dimanche aussi. Le stationnement proposé était très cher.

This property was very good value: Cheap & Cheerful - as expected. Not luxurious but very affordable and pleasant. The staff were most courteous & kind. I believe I inadvertently left a small object behind - a ring on a chain given to me by my Grandson as a 'keepsake'. I am hoping that Leo House will arrange for its' return to my NZ address once I pay for the postage. If they do this I will add another review - crediting Leo House for their service 'above & beyond' the call of duty..
