Nice hotel in a good location. Some minor issues with the rooms but generally very good. Hotel needs proper curtains to black out the rooms at night as lights from Times Square can be annoying

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans Times Square. La chambre était spacieuse et très bien insonorisée de l'extérieur avec des stores occultants pour avoir une bonne obscurité. La salle de bain est très grande et fonctionnelle. Tout était très propre, avec tous les jours deux bouteilles d'eau offerte et mises dans la chambre. Le personnel est très sympathique. Nous avons du changer de chambre car il y avait un problème qui nous gênait et cela s'est fait très simplement à l'accueil. Merci à l'employée et qui a pris ma demande et a solutionné le problème. Le soir nous dormions dans une autre chambre qui était parfaite. En résumé, un excellent séjour (8 nuits) et nous sommes prêts à y revenir.

The staff was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and sweet! While checking in, I explained it was my husband's birthday, and we were here to celebrate. They gave us coaster for two free drinks at the roof-top hotel. When we returned to our room, after having a few drinks and delicious apps at St. Cloud. There was a piece of cake, with a happy birthday embellishment, plates, forks, and nakins. How SWEET is that! We had a great dinner at Charlie Palmer's restaurant with two complimentary glasses of champagne for my husband's birthday. Everything was great. We had an amazing time!

Celebrated my 21st birthday in New York and the Knickerbocker definitely made our stay better! The location is exceptional, 2 minutes from the Heart of Times Square and incredibly easy access to the subway! Staff were very helpful, service was fast. Will definitely recommend in the future!

Beautiful room and great food at Charlie Palmer on the 4th fl. - I would definitely stay here again. Two areas for improvement: They never pickup at the front desk. Tried 10X. - they should have a doorman to help with the heavy double doors.

The location and sfaff were great. However, the elevators were down 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there. Going up to my room was a handle, after paying so much money to stay there. We had to wait to get walked to our room. Also, there is no ice machine so had to call down to get some. Called 4 times for some ice and still was never received. Location is amazing as well as the amenities. Rooms were big as well

Overall stay was very good. Caution when being approached about transportation to the airport. ONLY licensed vehicles are permitted. Always confirm with the driver prior to departure on their rates. We were told one price by the doorman and placed in a vehicle, we were told a higher rate when we reached the airport.

This hotel is severely in need of updating and better maintenance across the property. The elevators are slow, old and one stopped working during our stay with passengers trapped in there. The staff works hard to manage the ongoing issues. I also had no hot water for the first full day on my arrival. It’s a bit of false advertising to have the best hotel in America list so prominently displayed. The location is excellent for theatre district.
