Det var kaldt ute og kaldt på rommet. Bra atmosfære på jazzbaren deres

Stille rolig hotell på Uptown Manhattan
Vi hadde et behagelig opphold. Hotellet var stille og rolig. Alt var rent og pent (bortsett fra under sengene), men det synes enkelte steder at det er en tanke slitt og kunne kanskje trenge en liten "make over". Rommene er store og romslige - noe som er deilig! Hotellet ga oss et inntrykk av forgangen prakt. Det har en gang i tiden vært fantastisk og som reklamen sier så har nok kjendiser og filmstjerner bodd her. Hotellet selv sier de er 5 stjerners og da forventet vi miniumum europeisk 5 stjerners standard! Er vel ikke helt overbevist om 5 stjerner. Hotellfasilitetene var i sin helhet det man MÅ forvente.

This was a spectacular property with perfect staff. I was there to see a show. DIanna Agron's show exceeded expectations, the food was terrific. The staff is courteous and helpful. I stay at hotels all over the world and this one was a very pleasant surprise. We will be back soon.

Staying at the Carlyle was like stepping back in time, understated elegance with excellent guest services. It is an upscale hotel and is priced accordingly but it is a lovely, worthwhile experience.

LOUD ENGINE NOISES IN ROOM AT NIGHT EVERY THRITY MINUTES TO ONE HOUR STARTING EARLY IN THE MORNING AT 4 AM. STAFF SAID IT WAS POSSIBALLY LINKED TO THE AC EMPTYING OUT MOISTURE. IT WAS REALLY LOUD ALMOST LIKE A LAWN MOWER STARTING UP. THE STAFF WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE A DISCOUNT BUT IT STILL DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE LACK OF SLEEP AND IMPACT ON HEALTH.

The hotel was beautifully restored. The bar was so much fun. The staff was amazing. The elevators didn’t work well, but the staff was there to help if we couldn’t get them to work

The staff was always very helpful and friendly, taking care to make the most of our stay. The room was well appointed and spacious. The bathroom could have been bigger, with more shelf space. Excellent products.
