Slitent hotel med bra beliggenhet
Hadde i det minste forventet "Velkommen" når man ankom resepsjonen for innsjekk. Tydeligvis hadde vi fått en voucher/credit på 90 dollar, men dette fikk jeg vite først ved utsjekk, håpløst. Hadde bestilt "Premier room"...men fikk et rom som heller var standard/economy, riktignok i en av de øvre etasjene. Rommet var meget slitt, spesilt badet, med liten lekkasje fra kranen ved vasken og dusjen. Det stakk også en skrue ut av dør håndtaket på badet og malingen hadde begynt å falle av. Det er mye lyd fra korridoren pga dårlig inngangsdør, stor åpning mellom dør og dørkarm. Inget kjøleskap på rommet med covid som grunn, men det er heller et sparetiltak. Det fineste med hotellet er beliggenhten, kort vei til Times square og central park. Fin bar- og lobbyområde. Kort oppsummert: Hotellet trenger en oppussing!

The hotel doesn’t have a room service. They don’t even give you water. Except the poor cleaning crew, the rest of the staff especially the receptionists are not friendly at all. They always answer you with attitude.

Just gives the impression of being rundown for such an expensive hotel. Lots of little issues: they forgot to put shampoo in the shower (unless they never do), the built-in Starbucks shares the space with a bar and is only open part of the day, the ironing board is awkwardly situated in the closet and hard to get out, etc.

The hotel charges $5 per bag for luggage storage and does not provide bottled water. Shower caps and slippers are not included in the room and must be requested from guest services. Despite the $300 per night rate, the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

For the price of this “fancy” hotel, the bed was pretty uncomfortable, the room tiny, only shampoo and lotion for room amenities. The staff was impatient and short with us when we wanted to use the complimentary bike rental. Overall, a $49/night motel 6 would be just as good.

I DO NOT appreciate the $30 per day charge which you only get back in food credit. With a Use it or lose it aspect. The server in the bar cafe could have cared less about service and the turkey BLT I had was awful. I have no idea how you mess up a turkey sandwich I do not know. And who did the plumbing renovation? Horrible handle situation-and the cable TV is atrocious. Clean, yeah, close to Times Square and theaters, yeah. But Oh boy, if God is in the details she is looking away from this property.

It is on 7th avenue, 1 block off Broadway & a 10–15 minute easy walk to any Broadway show and Times Square. Subway & busses all around. Only a few blocks from Rockefeller Ctr & 5th avenue shopping. The hotel has a ‘resort fee’ but they give you $30 night as compensation for you to use in restaurants. We got breakfast for 2 each morning in the cafe. They also have the smart elevators where you input the floor you’re going to & it tells you which elevator is for you. This saves so much time as the elevator does not stop on random floors.

We were charged a destination fee but could use it for hotel purchases and when we went to use it for breakfast we were told it had to be used the day of check in so we lose all of that money. No one mentioned this to us at check in. Overall the room was a bit dingy and dirty, would not stay again.

The property is great for location...can walk everywhere at any time. Subway right beside it and Metro very convenient for going around Manhattan and out of the city. However, the property looks older so the rooms are not as modern as newer hotels. There are some things in the room that needed to be fixed and/or updated.

Terrible service and cleanliness. About service: when I called front desk to ask for chopsticks or a spoon, I was told “No! We don’t have any room service!” Is it because I mentioned chopsticks and recognized as Chinese and being discriminated?? As for the cleanliness, there was a bug flying in the room, short hairs in the sink. The stay in this hotel was a nightmare.
