The staff was friendly and accommodating, the physical space while seeming relatively new felt dirty. The hotel restaurant was busy when we arrived. We got there late about 10:00 pm but music was playing and tables were full of customers. Getting to our room was a little uncomfortable with very dark hallways. This seems to be a lighting preference for newer hotels its just scary and with the carpeting looked shabby. Motion sensory dimmers might be more effective if you’re going for energy conservation. My sister with who I was traveling had to wipe down surfaces and floor and there was a tremendous amount of dust, which was really disappointing because the flooring is simply poured concrete no carpeting. It gives the impression you won’t be dealing with dust issues which was why I selected this hotel. Minimal design should equal through basis cleaning. I recently stayed at another eco friendly hotel Radio might take some lessons from them. Love the art and the contemporary design. Please just clean the place.

Stuck in NYC unexpectedly this hotel was a last minute reservation at one of the lower end prices but it was very clean & quiet. Only downside is it’s an about a mile walk to the closest subway 181st Street. Still- I was pleased to find it & good stay.

Their is always an issue with the Chromcast on the television each Time I go and I go every month. Always same issue and I always have to get my toom switched. Such an inconvenience. Everytime I get comfortable and try to put on Netfix. I have to move to a different room.

My stay at Radio Hotel in New York was a mixed experience, with both positives and negatives to consider. Starting with the negatives, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel didn't feel particularly safe. It was a bit unsettling to navigate, especially at night. Additionally, the hotel itself was quite noisy, with the rooms being rather poorly soundproofed. This, coupled with its location on a bustling street, made for some restless nights. On a brighter note, the staff at Radio Hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Any issues that arose during my stay were promptly addressed and resolved, which I greatly appreciated. One of the hotel's redeeming qualities is its proximity to a metro station, which made getting around the city relatively easy. The area is undeniably dynamic, however, I found the dining options in the vicinity to be lacking, and the presence of many homeless individuals in the area was disheartening. Although the hotel is only a 30-minute metro ride from downtown, it felt like a considerable distance given the aforementioned challenges with the neighborhood and noise levels. Regarding cleanliness, while the rooms were generally tidy, I did notice some dust accumulation, and the bathroom's grout and caulk were in need of attention, showing signs of mold. So the Radio Hotel offers a convenient location near public transportation and friendly staff, but guests should be prepared for some noise and cleanliness issues.

The description with Expedia isn't true. There is no free parking or free breakfast included. The restaurant in the facility is very pricey. I needed the stay because it was close to my daughter graduation at Columbia University. The rooms are very tiny for a family stay. The advertisement said there is a microwave and a fridge but no microwave and it wasn't a fridge it was a more of a mini fridge . It only fit like 6 bottles of water but they had to be sideways. The shower is see through. You can see everyone in the shower with the lights on. So if you stay here be a couple not a family or people who don't normally stay together. Also even though it says no smoking the first night there I was coughing because of the marijuana smell. The shower also was leaking into the room. The seal in the shower walls are broke somewhere . Had to put towels down because we didn't want to slip on the floor due to the water from the shower. I just glad to find a place close to my daughter school. But definitely change the free statements because that's not true. Thank you.

We didn’t spend much time in the hotel but when we did it was fine. Did the job and the room we had was lovely. The only thing is the staff wasn’t as welcoming as I would have liked. They didn’t talk much, gave short answers and I had to ask for things rather than them telling me all about how the hotel works. I’m used to having the receptions ask “have you been here before? No? Well here’s everything we offer!” Instead I had to ask how breakfast worked, what they offered at their grab and go, and what the wifi was.

Such a beautiful modern hotel with the coziest rooms! My partner and I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend. Only thing to note is that the sink is not in the bathroom and wish it was a little bigger to wash your face and brush your teeth but other than that- we would definitely stay here again. The Hotel was extremely cozy. You're in Washington Heights and should expect to hear street traffic. Wish there was a "drop-off" area, as there isn't parking in front to drop off luggage easily, so you do have to park (either at a meter or around the corner). Otherwise, we were very happy to have this hotel as an overnight stop, instead of driving upstate after a long day of travel. Will definitely go back soon!

The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean… The pricing on extra products and services was not clear, Room service was confusing as there is no number to call and nowhere to order food through the app… I still had to go downstairs and directly order it from the restaurant. The Volume of the music in the lobby was way too high.. The location of the hotel was way too far away from where I needed to be in the city.

het personeel was erg onvriendelijk, keken je nauwelijks aan. De rolgordijnen van de kamwer konden niet meer omhoog. Het raam open doen was daardoor erg lastig maar door het lawaai kon je het raam beter dicht doen, echter de airco maakte zoveel lawaai dat het wel leek of qwe in een machine kamer sliepen. In de omgeving hebben wij ons zeer onveiig gevoeld waardoor we na 1 nacht een ander accomodatie hebben moeten boeken. Het personeel was hiervan niet onder de indruk. Geen ontbijt en het hotel zit in een wijk waar voornamelijk dominicaans volk rond loopt. Naar de metro lopen is niet ver maar niet veilig. De rit naar Manhattan is lang

The hotel was great. The staff was great. Parking sucked but that can be expected. The shower that you can see through from the bed was a little different. But all in all a great hotel with an amazing staff.
