Nok et opphold på Martinique New york
Beliggenhet er et pluss. har bodd her flere ganger. Området nær Fifth av er støyete men sentralt. Rom som forventet, men dårlig lydisolert. Bad, samt renhold, bra. Bestilte rom med frokost. Anbefales ikke! Frokost, ikke buffet som tidligere opphold, kun velge fra dårlig meny. Få frokost valg og ingen drikke, bortsett fra kaffe. Avgift på 40$ pr dag obligatorisk, i tillegg til vanlige skatter, gjør det vanskelig å forsvare et opphold på dette hotellet.

Perfekt beliggenhet,gå i alle retninger.
3dagers opphold i New York , perfekt beliggenhet. Flotte rom, servicen i restauranten kunne vært bedre. Prøvde flere kelnere, men det var det samme over hele fjølen.

Het hotel ligt zeer centraal en is modern ingericht met prachtige oude stijlkenmerken. Je krijgt vanuit de hotelkamer niets mee van het bruisende nachtleven, de bedden liggen heerlijk en het is stil. Het sanitair is nieuw en schoon, het personeel vriendelijk. De kamer was op de 14e etage, het raam was afgeplakt met folie en er was geen uitzicht, je keek tegen een muur aan. Geen ramp, we kwamen hier toch alleen maar om te slapen. Wel is het zo dat het hotel iedere kans aangrijpt om meer omzet te draaien. Dat begint al bij binnenkomst : je kamer is nog niet klaar maar voor $50 per dag kan je een iets grotere kamer krijgen die wel al klaar is. Je betaalt bovendien $40 per dag ‘daily food and beverage charge’, daarmee kan je in het hotel eten/drinken betalen. Voor een super basic ontbijtje voor 2 (1 x oats met banaan en honing, 1 x gegrilde grapefruit, 1 croissant en 2 cappuccino) betaal je in het restaurant $70 dus opmaken lukt wel. 😂 Dit deden we alleen de eerste ochtend, daarna hebben we alleen nog cappuccino’s to go in de koffiecorner gekocht van het tegoed. Maak je hier een dag geen gebruik van dan is je $40 gevlogen…je kan het tegoed namelijk niet meenemen naar de volgende dag. Bijzonder systeem. We hebben hoe dan ook een heerlijke week in New York gehad en kijk nu al weer uit naar een volgend bezoekje!

This is based off my experience. We arrived early before 4pm check in. Our room was not ready but was offer another room that was available at an extra charge per night. We declined and left our bags with concierge while we explored the city. Staff was nice and so was the gentlemen handling our bag. I appreciated the $40/ day credit we were allowed to use. The coffee place had great service and coffee. The food was sad. I ordered BEC sandwich and the eggs looked like they were cooked day prior and left to dry up and used for sandwich. It was gross. I grabbed fruit cup. How could anyone mess up on fruits? Well, it looked like old fruit from days prior that was left out and reused for breakfast. Coffee great. Food quality is very questionable. House keeping was great and nice. We tipped each day. On the day of departure, our flight was at 3pm so we decided to leave our bags with concierge again after check out while we grabbed breakfast. We tipped when we got our bags back. They even offered to call car service for us to airport but we found Lyft was more affordable.. on the airplane my husband couldn’t find his ear buds. The ones he left with concierge in backpack that was zipped up unexpose but sat on top zipped. It was there prior to check out and not there after seated on plane. That ruined my likeness of the hotel. So if one needs to leave their bags with concierge I would recommend locking your bags and not to leave anything valuable.

This is a beautiful hotel! Staff was awesome! Location was conveniently located to Times Square, The Empire State Building, lots of shopping and subway stations. Only issue is my stay wasn’t long enough but I’ll be back and I will most definitely stay again!

Unfortunately, the only thing about this property is that it is very central to a lot of things and that was our main goal while looking for a hotel. The hotel very clearly needs upgrades and I would not consider this a 4 star hotel by any means. We did not have any trouble with the staff, they were actually very nice. We were a little disappointed with the room. It felt run down and just not very clean. Paying what we paid to stay there, I would have expected a bit more.

I was hesitant about reservation due to some of reviews especially since 3 night stay. All staff/service /food (from coffee bar) were perfect. Yes, the resort fee is not worth it, but given location, guess it is not unusual

Hotel was overall great with great location. We saw a show at Madison Square Garden and walked there within 5 min. Subway right next door which is very convenient. The gym is great. Lots of options and a Peloton bike, which I loved. Also the Peloton Studio is in walking distance. Another bonus! The only disappointment we had was that Expedia advertised the Hotel with a roof top, which is not true and not existing.

This is a great hotel for a visit to NYC it’s on corner of Broadway and 32nd. 5 mins from Penn Station and right by a metro station. In corner of K-town. And just around corner from the Empire State. Room was very comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Decor very elegant. Good value for central Manhattan

I never write any Expedia reviews but our stay was despicable. Our initial room that we were assigned had a TON of bugs on the bathroom shower crack on the floor. We immediately went downstairs to the front desk to ask if we could get a new room. Unfortunately, same thing happened. There were still bugs coming out of the shower cracks on the floor. We went downstairs for a third time and the manager did not even apologize. She was able to get someone to check a third new room for us. Third times the charm. Fortunately, after switching to the third room, we did not see anymore bugs. Also, the hotel elevators were a little slow and there are people waiting for the elevators together. We also heard random ringtones of what resembles an icecream truck late at night for short periods of time each day we were in the hotel. Overall, I expected better as this was claimed to be a "4-star hotel." Other than the convenient location, we will NOT be back.

Great location, spacious rooms and awesome food and shopping options all around! The hotel is surrounded by the best of Korea Town. Amazing boba across the street, yummy coffee right next door, and endless food options on the block.

la posizione è ottima. appena arrivati il 25 aprile alle 16 circa al check ci viene comunicato da un giovane addetto non gentile che siamo obbligati a spendere 40$ al giorno presso di loro altrimenti verranno comunque detratti dalla cauzione di ben 375$ imposta all’arrivo. in sostanza la camera non costa il prezzo pagato ma 40 dollari in più al giorno; alle mie lamentale mi è stato detto che avremmo goduto di servizi quali Wi-Fi o concierge ., se non hai soldi per pagare resti per strada a dormire!. la camera è minuscola per quattro senza nemmeno un armadio in grado contenere vestiti per una sola persona! risultato che sei obbligato a lasciare i vestiti in valigia e non puoi nemmeno camminare in camera. il bagno è imbarazzante per quanto piccolo, .la colazione è mediocre e non è compreso nemmeno un espresso o un cappuccino (se li vuoi paghi 6$), non c’è una sala ma si deve andare nel ristorante collegato e ci sono attese lunghissime (20 minuti per una cioccolata calda per i miei bambini). i servizi sono scadenti camerieri scortesi (al contrario di quando vai a cena). ho chiesto un adattatore per caricare iphone 15 ma nel nostro meraviglioso (!!) Hilton mi hanno invitato ad andare a compramelo fuori. un giorno (il 28) abbiamo trovato al nostro rientro alle ore 19 la camera sporca con la scusa che avevamo lasciato i pigiami sul letto. la reception molto scortese (il solito giovane che che ci aveva accolto il 25 alle ore 16) mi ha invitato a “rilassarmi” alle mie proteste.

Sembra che le questioni legate alla tassa di destinazione obbligatoria abbiano causato confusione: includevano servizi come l'accesso premium a Internet e i servizi di portineria. Ci scusiamo per eventuali disguidi durante il check-in. Comprendiamo che la tua camera e lo spazio fornito non erano adeguati e riconosciamo l'importanza del comfort, soprattutto durante un viaggio con la famiglia. Inoltre, i membri del nostro team dovrebbero sempre mirare a essere efficienti e cortesi e ci scusiamo se ciò non è avvenuto durante la vostra visita. I problemi con il servizio di colazione e il conseguente tempo di attesa da te segnalato non riflettono il servizio che cerchiamo di fornire. Siamo inoltre spiacenti per l'errata comunicazione relativa all'adattatore e per la risposta alla tua domanda che non è stata gestita correttamente. Affronteremo questo problema come una questione importante e ti ringraziamo per averci avvisato. Apprezziamo che tu abbia condiviso il tuo feedback, ci aiuta a lottare per un miglioramento continuo.

We LOVED Martnique! Our room was adorable, clean and comfortable. The location is great. And the best part was the staff--they were amazing. The door man, Jose, greeted us on our first day there and set the tone for us to have a fantastic trip. He was so nice and helpful, and he gave us great ideas for what to do in the city while we were there. We'll always stay at Martinique when we're in town.

The room was too way small. For sure was for one person as the bed was twin! Very very noisy hotel! They vacuum the carpet @ 5 pm for 30 min! They woke up me again in early morning on sunday vacuuming carpet again! Overall very bad experience for an very expensive hotel.

This property is right on the subway system and Herald Square, and around the block from Empire State Building. Very good Koreatown restaurants nearby!

It has great location for travel and close to Korean town. The necessary things are well equipped, and I didn't feel any discomfort during my stay. However, there is too much dust in the room, and it charges an additional $40 per day without prior notice. I think guests should be able to know the additional amount when making a reservation.
