Perfect location, small and dark room
The location is perfect (eg. close to central park, shopping, subway) and the environmental profile is good. However, the room was very small and dark, not as in the pictures. Also, the room was only cleaned 2 out 5 days while I stayed there, which is not typical of a 5 star hotel.

Disappointed with the service and price/value
Happy arriving in NY for 1 day. Very close to Central Park - and a short walk to the interesting places on Manhatten. The hotel stated - we have a Tesla that can bring you around on Manhatten range 15 blocks (for a non-New Yorker this is 1 km. radius). I actually thought - why not, and asked for the Tesla drive - they would call it in, it would take 5 minutes. After 10 minutes waiting, I asked again - and the reception called again - they replied the car is there, they just get it from Broadway. After another 5 minutes waiting - I asked again - and the reply "oh sorry, I will get you a cap". Well waiting 15 minutes for nothing is simply just bad service... - but the worst was - they stated that they never said that the Tesla was available, but always talked about getting a cap from the street (by the way - there are a million available caps... so takes about 20 sec.) The room - was nice - well, price value was not there, but the room had a nice view - directly into a boring back yard building wall...

Dette hotellet var helt fantastisk! Vi måtte sjekke ut fra et annet hotell fordi det var helt grusomt. Vi valgte 1 hotel Central Park og ble ikke skuffet. Vi bodde her i 4 netter og fikk beskjed on at vi var oppgradert når vi sjekket inn, vi fikk rom i etasje 18 og utsikten var helt utrolig. Vi forelsket oss straks i den lille vindusposten der man kunne sitte på puter å speide mot Central Park og skyskrapere. Hotellet er casual og miljøvennlig, og har utrolig god service. De var innom hotellrommet 2 ganger om dagen og servicen var virkelig helt utmerket. Lukten er også noe for seg selv! Det var så deilig å komme inn på hotellet og kjenne lukten av skog (god skoglukt altså). Hotellet ligger rett ved Central Park noe som passet oss midt i blinken. Det tok heller ikke lang tid å gå til time sqaure. Hotellet koster litt mer enn vi vanligvis ville tatt oss råd til, men det var absolutt verdt det! Jeg velger dette hotellet neste gang også!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location! Hotel rooms are run down and not worth the nightly price tag. They also charged me for "mini-bar" items that we did not use. I called back to dispute the charge over the phone and the woman I spoke with gave me attitude.

Staff was amazing. From check in to check out, the front desk, doormen, and concierge were uniformly polite, friendly, and helpful. Only (very small) glitch was being seated by the kitchen for brunch. Our bad for not making reservations. Just seems that hotel guests should get better tables especially when many tables were empty.

A great hotel that is centrally located...shopping, and fine dining and so close to Central Park. Everything was 1 environmentally sustainable. But one that struck me was how wonderful and friendly the staff were... everyone was so welcoming. I love 1 Hotel and will stay here when I return to NYC.

1 Hotel is convenient to Central Park and Rockefeller Center. It has a Jonathan Waxman restaurant attached with outdoor seating. The room was clean and modern.

The place is a refreshing modern meets natural meets elegance. It is comfortable, casual luxury. Great room- the Park King. Great service. Great restaurant downstairs. Great location. We loved it and would return. We saw it in winter/ early spring when everything was still dead. Would love to see it in the full bloom of Spring.

Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful property. Perfect location. It is within walking distance to amazing restaurants and shopping. Also very close to at least 3 subway stops. Will definitely be a return guest. Front desk staff were amazing from check in to check out.

The 1 Hotel was a beautiful stay! From the service, to the restaurant, to the location, it was amazing. Janae, the receptionist, was so sweet and funny that alone will make you want to come back. Anderson, was so sweet and helped with our bags, his personality will also make you want to come back. The restaurant was connected to the hotel and the food was really delicious. We got the French toast and chicken sausage and it was really flavorful! The hotel was very clean and it was very quiet, although we were overlooking the street. You will not regret come here.

The room was very small. Was also very hot during the night. The A/C didn’t work. Shower pressure was inadequate. Not worth the price of $600 per night.
