«What a wonderful time we had in this beautiful cottage! The property is so idyllic and perfect for a country getaway. We couldn’t ask for more in this home & needed for nothing. The beds were comfortable and the decor was just beautiful! The property owners were so friendly and very presponsive to any questions we had. «The property was lovely and the property manager was very friendly and accommodating. The space was ample, beds were very comfortable, and the a/c kept us cool in the middle of a heat wave. Only issue was that the house had a very musty smell to it. Also, the coffee pot was filled with old coffee-apparently they forgot to clean it prior to our arrival. Otherwise a great stay!»

«Landscaping was spectacular and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake. Baths and bedrooms very clean. Plenty of charging ports. Terrible mold and mildew smell in lower level. Number of hazards noted, handrail missing on stairs, no lights on outdoor stairway, thermostat access by leaning over the stairs. The property needs a good deep cleaning.»

«This is a really lovely and clean home. The owners were very responsive and clearly take great care with the property and rental process. It was very comfortable for me, my mother and my four year old daughter. The lake view is gorgeous and peaceful, however be advised that CT lakes can sometimes get high bacteria levels so it was not swim friendly when we were there »

«The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. »

«Everything was easy and fine at the space. I had to stay for family reasons - so "location" was the most important factor to me. The worst thing in the unit is that the spiral stair is narrow - and a fat person or person with bad knees is NOT going to be using that stairwell easily. Otherwise, the unit had everything I needed and was perfectly appointed for an easy weekend stay. Enjoy!»

The waterfront area is fantastic, however, it is across the main lake road, and while the speed limit is 25 mph, most cars are going well above that.
