«We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast.»

«Nice wooded lot, clean home. Dogs loved playing fetch around the home. “Lived” on the lower level where the shower and king bed were. Convenient drive and door so items could be unloaded from the car.»

«We really enjoyed staying at the Tar Heel House. It was just what we were looking for on our long weekend getaway with friends and family. It’s nestled back in the woods which gives you the feeling of being in the mountains. Every room in the house offered amazing views of the lake. Easy access putting the boats in at the marina. After visiting the NC Zoo, this was a perfect location to extend our family fun with great water views and plenty of outdoor and indoor amenities. We especially enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and lounging on the screened-in porch.
