«The house was really great - plenty of room and a nice and serene. Older house with squeaky and uneven floors but the decor and some modern makeovers made it have great character! Communicating with property manager was very easy and we got prompt responses. The only thing worth mentioning that needs attention is the little bridge to go over to get to the driveway. Luckily we have a higher car but anyone with a regular sedan would have bottomed out and/or possibly got stuck. I’m sure it was ...

«We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. The property is adorable, you are literally 2 steps from the water. We couldn't stop watching the ducks, different birds, a heron parade down the cove. It was also the perfect location to watch the solar eclipse, privately, quietly. The beds were so comfortable, the wood stove took the chill out of the main room, the quiet was just right. «This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.»
