«The grounds at Whitney Inn are beautiful and well maintained. We had a perfectly good stay here. The only reason for a less than stellar review is that we chose this Inn because my parents had previously stayed there and loved the room and amenities and wanted to have the same experience again. «We stayed at the Jay Village Inn because our main purpose was visiting the Pumphouse at Jay Peak Resort. After seeing the resort's prices and reading reviews of its rooms, we decided to stay off-site. The Jay Village Inn was a good compromise. «The Inn is a beautiful place, and while easily accessible to a through road, it feels private and quiet, with attractive grounds and good-size modern pool. Good parking, and a truly "country inn" ambience. Our room, on the first floor, was not noisy at all despite being close to the restaurant area, with genuine colonial comfort (though not luxury). «We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night.»

«The rooms are very clean. I had no problem with any of that. We went downstairs and told the manager that the bathroom sink was not draining and he said he would take care of it and he did we got back from where we had gone for the day it was working. We had our breakfast between eight and 11 is they said it would parking was good. We had a great time nice people to deal with.»
