«Old hotel with a touch of Class, excellent staff. Free parking for residents. Yarra Station winery next door (they have a fanstastic restaurant as well) Tasting with return of tastings cost if you buy bottles. We ate at the Chateau which was excellent, quality fair. The only drawback was the WiFi in the hotel (hopefully they will address that). »

«Some friends booked for us to stay here whilst attending a sporting event whilst over from the UK. It’s a conference centre first and foremost and for the ten days we were there there were no conferences so was very very quiet with limited facilities available. However, it proved to be an excellent base for us, the rooms were very comfortable (the beds are huge) and provided kettles, toasters, fridge etc. There’s no reception after I think about 5pm so having left my keycard in the room at ...

«Clean room, bed comfortable , nice bathroom with lovely hot shower. Basic tea/coffee making facilities. Only small plates and tea spoon supplied, could have done with more plates, bowls and knives and forks, otherwise comfortable stay.»

«The room was great, spacious and the balcony and view were great. Water presure to the spa bath was very weak, which was surprising as the shower pressure was great.(strange..) Otherwise our stay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, or recommend to friends.»

«1. Parking: This was used by nearby workmen's 4 wheel drives, to park around the clock for their shifts on Vic Big Build. Big engines backed into the unit doors, changing at hours in the middle if the night. We returned to our unit at 5 pm on 2 occasions, to have no parking. It was organised 30 minutes later, when workmen finished the shift on nearby worksite. Hot water was a disaster, a problem of cheap installation. «Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. «Booked a room that stated it had 2 Queen beds however it only had 2 double beds. I checked with the man in reception who was not very friendly and probably in the wrong job and was told that was the right room. Beds were 138cm wide so definitely just standard double beds. Our room was up some rickety old stairs that I wasn't sure were going to be there in the morning. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover as everything is just old and rundown.
