«My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Lavender House. There was a little hiccup with checking in but this was quickly remedied. The property is beautiful and set on a working farm. There are horses, donkeys, chickens and dogs. We enjoyed this aspect of the farm. The owner was quick to respond to us but we had very few questions as everything was self-explanatory. «Loved staying in this charming home in Bayfield. We were 2 adults and 2 teens, and there was plenty of space to spread out. Clawfoot tub was lovely! Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of charm throughout the house. Immaculate and comfortable. Walking to restaurants in Bayfield was fun, and Durango is only a short drive away. Would stay here again. Thanks!»

«The Farmhouse had everything! From the picturesque view of the Animas River valley, to the lush front lawn perfect for a leisurely game of Corn Hole under the the magnificent willow tree, the setting was idyllic. The house was charming and cozy, like going to Grandma's house. And like Grandma's, it was spotless and well-stocked. Our hosts, John and Kathy, were lovely: generous, helpful and kind. «My family has stayed in MANY vacation rentals and this one is the most spotless we've ever come across! The kitchen and pantry was better stocked than my own home!! Everything in the house was brand new and the split bedroom layout was perfect for privacy. The outdoor patio was lovely and spacious. The only negative was the river was not as close as depicted in the pictures and wasn't really easily accessible.»
